It's funny how some of the same Protestants come to these Catholic Youtube videos when there are tens of thousands of varying Protestants churches. They can't even agree among themselves but they insist we Catholics should see their interpretation.

@theyanna There is more churches of protestant branch. I must say, that i belong to one of many, that comunicate together and our faith is practically the same. Just our congregations have different names. For us is not important if we belong to some big super church. Much more important is the real relationship with Jesus. We come together to praise Him and to serve each other and others. But there are some more traditional churches that are also protestant but they do we are against for.

But it is the reason, why catholics and other churches who like tradition the same or more than Bible, don't understand us and why we are arguiing so often. We just returned back to pure message of Bible, without human tradition, without so many rules and ceremonies... I really couldn't care less about if Catholics and Protestants hold hands or whatever. Good for them. But while they're holding hands, consider this. People across Europe and the US are forsaking Christianity, some even to Islam. Someone's got to do something about that. NOW.

I'd like to hear. From what I heard, the Catholics wrote the New Testament. Is that true? Does this mean you are a Protestant? In 10th grade I learned that the there was a period of huge Protestant boom in the early 1500's started by Luther, Zwingli, and Calvin. The Christian church was under persecution and official church gatherings were risky business in the Roman Empire. It's funny how some of the same Protestants come to these Catholic Youtube videos when there are tens of thousands of varying Protestants churches. They can't even agree among themselves but they insist we Catholics should see their interpretation.
It's difficult when Protestants have so many interpretations. Real hard to keep up with them =) Praise Jesus. Thank you for the Sacraments from the Catholic Church. What a gift everyone should receive! =)

Just our congregations have different names. For us is not important if we belong to some big super church. Much more important is the real relationship with Jesus. We come together to praise Him and to serve each other and others. But there are some more traditional churches that are also protestant but they do we are against for.

@factionxvt408x The Roman Catholic Church was not really in effect as an organization in the first couple hundred years of the Christian Church. The Christian church was under persecution and official church gatherings were risky business in the Roman Empire. Catholicism as an organization with a central figure located in Rome did not occur for quite some time, in spite of its claim they can trace the papacy back to Peter.

@factionxvt408x The early church as described in the NT did the following: shared all things in common, relationships, support missionaries/ministers, teaching & preaching, praying, worshiping, reading of scripture, evangelism, fostering spiritual gifts. No where does the NT dictate fancy buildings, robes, repetitive prayer, a priesthood, Mary worship, sectarianism, or any order of service, etc.. all these are man made traditions added on.

That's because for a certain type of "Christian", it's more important to hate those who don't agree with you than it is to love Jesus. If they loved Jesus, they would engage with others in a whole different way. That's why I 1) can't take people like him seriously and 2) put them all on the prayer list.....God's grace is a whole lot more efficacious than anything I could say to someone like that :)

One of our faithful elderly church members has now been forced to leave and go back to the RCC by her husband because he was getting a lot of stick from other catholics mocking him for allowing his wife to go to another church. In fact, it can be shown that the New Testament books were gathered into one volume and were in circulation long before the Catholic Church claims to have taken its action in 390 at the council of Hippo.

Their writings did not need to be deemed worthy of inclusion in the Canon of Scripture by a later group of men in the so-called Roman Catholic Church. To make such a claim is, in effect, to usurp the natural power and authority of God himself.

@JezusSlave Hello friend. If the Roman Catholic church had its way in the past, we would never have seen a bible. Be thankful to those who suffered and died at the hands of the Papacy for bringing the bible through the centuries for us to use today.

@johnthreesixteen316 Your a complete moron. The Catholic church did have it's way for 1450 years. Let's just be thankful that atleast our bible doesn't have several books removed from it. Did you know that Luther wanted to remove the whole book of James because it contradicted with his teaching? Now that is a complete fail.

@JezusSlave The claim of the RCC as the only (infallible) & true church is blatantly falacious. In 1986 in Assisi Italy,Pope J,Paul II gathered the world's religious leaders to pray for 'world peace'.There were snake worshipers,fire worshipers,animists,buddhists,hindus,muslims,north american witch doctors, presbytarians,methodists etc,pope said THEY WERE ALL PRAYING TO THE SAME GOD!! Also homosexualism, lesbianism, pedophilia etc holds sway in the enclaves of an infal. church!

Through infant baptism, keeping sacraments, church membership, going to mass, praying to Mary, and confession (just to mention a few), the Catholic church has developed a system of salvation through WORKS. God's word says that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, not through works". "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Eph. 2:8-9)

United we stand, divided we fall. Do we want to let the devil keep controlling our relationships with other people?? If not, then be a true Christian/Catholic and love your brothers!!! Whoever does not love his brother is living in darkness.

I have a Pentecostal friend. Although we sometimes argue about faith we still remain very good friends. None hates the other. Quite contrary. One loves the other. That is how it should be. Only in love we come to the truth.

@cunjoz I agree. You can hate the teachings of a religion without hating the members of it. There is only one truth. Christ said He is THE way, THE truth and THE life. Not the pope, not a pastor, not mary, not a church, not an organisation.
