hey! i bought these and my hair is shoulder length and they come out when i snap them in place. is my hair too short?

You might want to section your hair into four (two on each side) instead of two. The "inner" hair (the ones that grow from your nape) could be too short to curl but they shouldn't be noticeable. The "outer" hair (the ones that grow from the top of your head) should be longer so you can try curling those. If that doesn't work, then I guess you have to wait a bit. :(
