It's funny because you don't seem to understand the concept of war. There's always going to be collateral damage. The U.S. is accomplishing it's goals in Iraq and some innocent people are dying in the process; it's a necessary evil. Also, a foreign country isn't invading the U.S. so your argument is invalid.

I hope you're just joking about liberating Iraqi oil. If the US wanted Iraqi oil, the US government would have *supported* Saddam Hussein instead of overthrowing him.  If you remember we were on good terms with Saddam before the first Gulf War. We could have just said, "Do what you want, just give us a good deal on all of that oil."

That doesn't prove anything. Saddam wanted to start dealing oil in euros not dollars. If everyone did that it would destroy the strength of the dollar. Bush can't have that so he gave Saddam a punishment beating. Obviously this also required the killing of plenty of civilians at the same time. Bush says it is not for the oil.
