I think these might be Mobeus rays, what a treat to get to se that though. Apparently they try to get rid of parasites that way, I like to think they like to fly since they have wings :-)

@drmonroedvm not many americans know the difference and i do think they are manta... all rays jump out of the water... IM NOT SAYING NO TO THAT...
but their size.. from the film seems to me like MANTA

I thought so too, but somewhere it says that they have a stinger and mantas don't have stingers so..
