  • First Responders rock!!!

  • @metalliciceage you must be a boiler-donk!!

  • safest refinery is chevron el segundo cali.

  • I work there as well (railserve) and its definitely safer than anywhere else I've worked (including wal-mart).

It just looks scarier when something does happen.

  • Wouldn't happen at an ExxonMobil facility.

  • @Syndrome057 What the same scenerio or an explosion? I am guessing it is not the latter?

  • @Syndrome057 Are you kidding me? You obviously have not been in either of the Louisiana ExxonMobil refineries...

  • ironoutlawwannabebiker: If management came to a sudden stop your face would go halfway up their ass ! Its probably been there many times before though ! Usefull idiot !

  • Unsafe company to work for . Drinking at the wharf and blending and shipping at their Richmond Refinery while watching movies on night shift and Sundays . Shooting guns at the old Asphalt plant . Wheres OSHA when you need them ? 50% of accidents get hidden because people are just too scared to come forward . Supervisors watching porn on nights . Yes it is that bad . Take out extra insurance if you go to work for them .

  • Hahahaha. Since when does OSHA get involved for watching movies? Shooting guns? Maybe in the '70's, bucko, but not in today's refinery. The refinery's plant protection would be ALL over that. You think nobody would notice a gunshot from the old asphalt plant? I work there, it's a GREAT place to work. No need for extra insurance, considering 90% of accidents are human error, tripping, not watching where you're going, slips, trips, and falls, NOT equipment malfunctions or horseplay. Idiot.

  • @HailCostanza GUnshots laugh my ass off. You get caught with shells in the back of your truck youre toast!

  • Hello all, Ive been a contractor with Performance in that kick ass refinery (safest place ive ever worked).
