  • the most mysteriusly musix ever!!

  • "The Kings of the Argonath, long have I desired to look upon my kin..."

    :D

  • Love this soundtrack. LOTR is by far the best trilogy ever made!!!!

  • Have you ran out of those shiny daggers? :(

  • Now thats what im Tolkien about :D

  • I had a couple friends that never liked the Lord of the Rings

    *HAD

  • only 2:42 minutes long?! why cant it be likethat road bilbo talked about?

  • where is 1:59 to the end from, is it from its own piece?

  • 1:47 The kings of the Argonath...

  • Mighty. That's what this is. A masterpiece nothing can even come close to. The only thing that can even be COMPARED to Lord of the Rings is the Elder Scrolls series... But it still doesn't best this. It took ONE PERSON to create this great world. Including a full language, a history of every detail there is, a feeling, and awesome characters. It's actually hard realizing this is all just made up. From one person's mind. Wow. Tolkien was a genius. A TRUE genius. All Hail Tolkien!!!

  • the four pieces of lembas pippin ate disliked this song

  • @Killerzen75 Oh come on. You can't possibly think you're gonna get away with copying another's idea of a comment when you're only three comments away from him/her? Pathetic. Yet hilarious.

  • @timewasteland

The most awesome Thing is that YOUR Comment seems to get on Top now.

  • @AdrianvonZiegler Well, this is the internet.

  • 0:35-0:50 best 15 seconds of my life :)

  • The 4 Lembas bread Pippin ate disliked this

  • the lembas that pippin ate disliked this.

  • The only part I don't like is 2:43

  • 1:45 things got epic

  • y would there even be a dislike on this song they are dumb

  • This is why I love music. Its magical.

  • ARGONATH! ;) The statues of the two kings of Gondor. Loved that part.

  • Legalos: Oh...Elvish waybread...lembas. *takes bite* One small bite is enough to fill a grown man's stomach.

Merry: How many have you had?

    Pippin: Four

  • @menslady125 the Legolas commercial xD

  • @menslady125 Legalos? lol

  • @theismagelssen:

    *sigh* Whatever.

  • @menslady125 <3

  • @nomorestoriestoday:

    Thank you.

  • 0:51 -> just 5 notes and everyone gets shivers :)

  • 1:50-2:33 :)

  • I totally geeked out when I heard he lyrics cus I immediately recognized it to be Namárië.

  • this music is more than brilliant.....don't know how to explain it.......thank howard shore.....

  • @dogsrule3444: Do you have the title card song up anywhere? Thanks!

  • argh! i can't find the song during which Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli hunt the Uruks across rohan!

  • @TheJayman213 Is it the song with the violin solo? If that's the case, the song is called something with 'edoras' in the name.

  • twilight<h.p<Lotr<lotr2<lotr3

    all simple

  • @robloxisfunify twilight shouldn't be in that equation, there are so many movies that could co between twilight and harry potter.

  • @tucker5005 yea......

    gladiator<h.p<lotr.<lotr2<lotr3

  • gollum and his reflection dislike this song

  • I asked for a single strand of hair off her golden head. She gave me three. -Gimli

  • @mazeman90

When I heard this line from Gimli, I wondered if he hadn't fallen secretly in love with Galadriel ... or, at least, became one of her most hard-core admirers. ^^

  • @1:59

    I can't get my breath!

  • @DanishLay i cant either...

  • Music with such incredible beauty makes it impossible to believe that there isn't a God.

  • @janeym not really. just incredible composers....

  • Yees! Yeeees!! This is the sound i've been looking for! My preeeciouus....

    1:54 - to the end.

  • @Druttilutt Hahahah ! You stole my comment ! Ive been looking for this part , thats the reason ive listened all the OST 'till now ! (not that i complain ofc :P )

  • @smoking013 same here :D I was searching for the music they used in the dvd main menu, and I found it!!!! YAY! :D

  • Why is ECLIPSE on the suggestions?!

  • @Aquilesmart Because Howard Shore, the composer for LOTR, also composed the score for Eclipse.

  • "I give you the light of Eärendil, our most beloved star. may it be a light for you, in dark places, when all other lights go out"

0:35 is where the chills begin.

  • I'll fight for ever for Gondor !

  • I'll ever fight for Gondor !

  • I just can't get over how epic 1:26 is lol...

  • @dahkillahmac I personally find the entire song epic!

  • At 1:26, Aragorn taps Frodo on the shoulder in an effort to get him to look upon the great Agornath, those two massive statues of Isiuldur and some other dude extending out their left arms the pass the message of evil not being welcomed beyond them, the border or Gondor. Am I right?

  • @minyminyme Nerds are awsome. Thumbs up for Nerds!

  • This is so powerful! :) I am such a fan! :)

  • i never really liked legolas (as in fancied him) i always liked aragon! everyone says im weird cos legolas was meant for the 'younger children' and aragon was meant for the 'older women'! >:( i'll fancy who i damn well fancy! :)

  • Is anyone else apart from me here because they're downloading the whole LOTR soundtrack?

  • @Harnikawa *high fives* xD

  • I'm 11 and I've read the series 14 times.... seen the movie at least 120 times, listened to the soundtrack at leat 30 times, memorized nearly all the lines, and suprisingly I'm not a nerd at all. If my boyfriend finds out that I'm that obsessed... ehh...

  • @DrewClaireBaylor Your boyfriend will love you! :)

  • Nobody ever told me that he didn't like Lord of the rings after he or she saw the movie. It is simply the most magnificant , perfect movie and story ever made :) everytime i see it, it gives me this strange feeling of happiness, melancholie and a feeling I can't describe. Thanks Tolkin

  • @colarik1 Tolkien.

  • can't wait till the hobbit... X_X

  • lord of the rings made me love history. I am building a castle in rl that looks like minas tirth

  • I recommend Unfinished Tales to any Tolkein fan, im reading it right now. The account of Tuor is exceptional

  • yeah, I'm a 14 year old girl too..I've read the trilogy so much and I've read the Hobbit on numerous occasions..for anyone that loves Tolkien's work; I highly suggest The Silmarillion. It gives a true history to Middle Earth and helps you understand it a whole lot better. Long live Elessar!

  • @PennyXXSam I'm reeading the Silmarillion right now! I love it! :DDD

  • @xXGottaLoveRockXx, yeah! I heard Roverandom was good too, though I haven't read that one yet. :)

  • @PennyXXSam wow good for you lol i don't have the patience to sit and read the silmarillion as much as I adore tolkiens work but hopefully i will be able to read it one day when i have more focus :)

  • @PGgunn1 hahahahahah your comment made me snort. And don't worry me too.

  • "Long have I desired to look upon the Kings of old - my kin."

  • Galadriel: "Farewell, Frodo Baggins. I give you the light of Eärendil, our most beloved star. May it be a light for you, in dark places, when all other lights go out."

  • 1:54 - epic

  • did you know that the lord of the ring is only a part of the story of the middle earth

and in the book of the middle earth.... the lord of the ring is only 2 PAGES

in a book of over a thousand of pages

  • @tiaaaa123 What do you mean?

  • @Leaf0fLorien I mean that the story of The Middle Earth must be enormous. Only the whole story of the Lord of the ring, from the beginning of Sauron reign to his end. Imagine the movie of the movie of the Middle Earth if The lord of the ring is only 2 pages

  • This man is a real genius. Can't say more.

  • Howard Shore is awsome

  • @tzepesh20 Harry Potter is great... it's not as good as Lord of the Rings, not at all, but it's definitely better than what you SHOULD be disdaining... TWILIGHT.

  • @genesisSOC Twilight? That is the language of Mordor, which should not be uttered here.

  • @MrFvdb Even orcs shy away from Twilight, its why they burned Fangorn forest. To stop the printing of Twilight in the Third Age.

  • @genesisSOC What's scary is that Howard Shore made the music for twilight, too!

  • @penguinsarebeast33 agh!!!!!!!! this is a twilight free zone mister

  • @penguinsarebeast33 Twilight and LOTR both have beautiful agrarian scenary

  • @genesisSOC Amen.

  • good new's howard shore will be the composer for the hobbit

  • My favorite score of all LotR, especially starting at about 1:04, and especially from 1:50

That part always makes me stop whatever I'm doing and just enjoy the tune.

  • "The Great River" is for Anduin....right?

  • 2 people fall of the falls of Rauros

  • Starting around 2:12 ....sort of gives you chills. Somewhat creepy...and lonely tune. ;-)

  • Guess who clicked the dislike buttons... both names start with S!

  • I realy like the End of this soundtrack...:X

  • I say every LOTR Fan should mOve to The moon! Elvish will be our language

  • @Soupiertoaster i prefer the mordor language

  • @Soupiertoaster I actually would prefer dwarvish. it is more like russian as elevish is more like french....screw the french.

  • @IceManWild Dwarvish was based on Hebrew. Elvish was modeled after Welsh, a Celtic language...nothing to do with French. Tolkien actually massively disliked the French influence on the English language.

  • @gariadara Seriously? I'm totally studying Welsh at one point in my life. <3

  • @xXGottaLoveRockXx That's appropriate. Welsh is long considered the language of myth and magic in Britain. It's the language of the pre-Christian druids, the old Celtic peoples before the Anglo-Saxons arrived, the language of King Arthur and of Camelot.

  • @Soupiertoaster He he he! :)))))

  • @Soupiertoaster Or to the forests ;D

  • @Soupiertoaster Why has no one proposed this idea before? o.o You officially rock. :)

  • @Soupiertoaster the earth would remain desolate....

  • @Soupiertoaster, that's a great idea...but the moon isn't big enough for every LotR fan...there's just too many of us :P

  • @Soupiertoaster There would be too many epic people that live there... population unfortunately has to be balanced out with n00bs. :(

  • @BKMPictures Noobs would be the orcs

  • @Soupiertoaster totally agreed

  • @Soupiertoaster do you think the moon big enough for such a number of people? i say move those who dislike LOTR to the moon. pretty sure there numbers are smaller then ours ^.^

  • @Soupiertoaster Lol good one but we need a bigger palurin for that ;)

  • I want the two argonats outside my room!!!!

  • lol i thought i was the only 1 but Helloo LOTR brothers n sisters! :D

  • @mdymy170 wooooo!!

  • "And for you Frodo Baggins, I give you the light of Elendil (sp?), our most beloved star, may it be a light for you, in dark places, where all other lights... go out."

  • This musik is so epic, I had forgotten to push the like butten, when i have heard this last time. (Sry for bad Grammar, I´m from germany ;)

  • LOTR the greatest trilogy in history ...

  • Lord Of The Rings 1:53

  • I love LOTR. Let's all go fall down a rabbit hole and end up in middle earth O.O dat would be epic....

  • I've memorized so many lines in this movie, I have the whole soundtrack album from all 3 movies on my iPod, and I've read the series 3 times. Oh, and I'm only a 14 year old girl, who is NOT nerd. :D

  • @worldtraveller9 yea I used itunes

  • @VanCanucksFTW thanks for telling me :D

  • @xXGottaLoveRockXx nope, you're still a nerd l0l.

  • @xXGottaLoveRockXx Being a nerd is a good thing. It means that you like something enough to be passionate about it. Living through life without a passion for anything does not sound very interesting so I'd gladly be a nerd any day.

  • @xXGottaLoveRockXx Impressive...but have you memorized the Elvish language?! >:D

  • @MegamanBeta ahh i have a friend whose older brother can read and write it he's like my idol lol

  • @xXGottaLoveRockXx

read the books, im your age and i enjoyed them

  • @xXGottaLoveRockXx

There is nothing wrong with being a geek/nerd. Read the books, the original ones,if you are a true die-hard fan and love the movies read the ORIGINAL books they have LOTS of backstory.

I have good news brothers, and sisters:

The Hobbit and The Hobbit 2 are in post-production.

    FOR FRODO!

  • @xXGottaLoveRockXx Nerd comes wit a bad rep, n which u need not hav 2 b afraid of being called 1. A nerd can b any1 who takes extra time 2 know anythin, such as sports, mathematics, or pokemon. If u enjoy Lord of the Rings enough 2 know everythin about it, some1 will call u a nerd regardless, but so what! Everybody has 1 thing n their life they put more focus on then others, so embrace de term. I am glad 2 say that I am happily married 2 a nerd like me, my wife who likes video games n anime.

  • @xXGottaLoveRockXx Hellz yeah! I'm 14 and I get called a nerd too, but it doesn't bother me. If it's something you really like, you shouldn't care what anyone thinks. So I'm supposedly a nerd because I enjoy watching the movies, reading the books and listening to the beautiful soundtracks of a series, that was created by both imagination and research? LOTR has expanded into more than just a bunch of movies, or books, it's a world of itself.

    *Rant over* :D

    Regards,

    Will.

  • @JcGWAMPROD *its own, not itself XD

  • @xXGottaLoveRockXx >.> <.< But..... there are no girls on the internet.....

  • whos the 1 ork who can't read and pushed the dislike button....

  • @wiktoria20121995 or the 1 ork who is deaf i suppose?

  • you can visit pretty much anything, just go to New Zealand....

  • 100 000 views !

  • Rip Boromir. He slept through the last part of this journey. For the seven stars.

  • im actually friendly men.. you just said bad words to me.. you're the one who is not friendly.. i'm open to arguments, but you said bad words to me...

  • You people who argue about Middle-Earth and it's relation to earth should read some of Tolkien's background work on the LOTR universe. I bet you guys only saw the movie. Read the sillmarillion and you will understand how massively wrong you all are in your arguments.

  • Shit, its hard to choose what of these epic songs that gonna be my favorite, when ALL OF THEM ARE MY FAVORITE!

  • This reminds me of The Dante Symphony by Franz Liszt. If you love ethereal heavenly music, listen to the Purgatory and Magnificat movements of that symphony.

  • This music (or at least the few seconds of it) puts in mind of one of the tunes from Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Or is it the other way around?

  • these books were the best ever written and now the films are the best ever made!

the world is split in 2.................. those who have read the LOTR trilogy and those who are going 2!!!!
