I dont think she neccesarily had a bad taste in men. I think if the truth be known she was probably highly pressured into marrying a man she did not really trust. Her sister introduced her to Ashkenazi....why..who knows.

Yes, her family did pressure her into getting married, her sisters especially. But, Ofra wanted kids, too. I personally think that her sisters/family should've minded their own damn business. Didn't they have their own lives? >:(

in the book "letters to Ofra", Bezalel tells how Ofra did not want to marry him, and was under huge pressure to get married, she was so insecure she asked everyone what to do and she finally gave in to the pressure and paid the price although she said she loved him after some years of marriage. these stories are really ridiculous rumors from a conspiracist. in 2007 Israeli Channel 10 disclosed previously confidential medical records of Ashkenazi, proving that he was the carrier and was positive even before they met.

She looks like my aunt (my mom's sis) All that kohl and long dark hair. She looks so beautiful. Maybe that's why I love her songs so much. heh :D Anyway this song is beautiful on its own as well. But Ofra's voice makes it all the better.
