  • This is a great example of how a variable pitch whistle can sound. It's actually an "industrial strength" version of a child's slide whistle. Companies such as Lunkenheimer and Crane once made them. This type of whistle is quite rare today.

  • 20 years ive been alive! 20 years ive got to listen to this! I used to scared as a kid. Now...I close my eyes...And i just think...Tradition! I love christmas eve for this reason! Im actually searching the internet for it right now! Its september 8th 2010..And i heard them warming it up...Just like they do a week before christmas eve! I am wondering if they are just teaching some one, or actually warming up for a show on 9/11?
