hey i want an iphone but my parents says that it is too expensive and they want give me money. what should i do ... i want it so bad that i had to lie about it to my friends ....cuz they already got one .......... please help me
I remember we used to wear the poppies in Primary school in Melbourne. I don't know when or why the tradition ended in Australia. I think after the Whitlam sacking on the 11/11/75? the meaning of the day changed down here and the poppies disappeared. The minute's silence, peace and the kids all wore poppies. Now many working people replace the tradition of peace with bitterness in what they see as betrayal from the Queen for the dismissal of an Australian Prime Minister.
That is interesting. The New Zealanders have a different variation of the same day. In Australia, the tradition is to give all the kids, cadets, scouts and so on twigs of rosemary. As rosemary helps you to remember. They tie the rosemary with a ribbon from legacy saying lest we forget or something. I wish I kept mine from my cadet days.

Yes very sad that. When I was in New Zealand I noticed them handing out poppies for ANZAC Day.
