Nobody who knew you will ever forget you. Your smile lit up the OTC, your laughter infected us all. I'll never forget you telling me you were gonna "whomp my ass." I am so sad because I don't understand. I only wish you peace and pray that you have it now. Miss you buddy..
@KryzMasta I used to do this on the Canadian team for some years. It is all very controlled, and the progression is very slow. Even the best take about 10 years to peak, no exceptions. To be honest the very most difficult hurdle is learning that first single back flip (done on water, safe but still painful). Can't tell you how many kids i saw get excited about it, and quit in a week.
The event is judged by more than one jump, and as such, the results were correct. Doesn't mean this dude shouldn't get tons of credit for progressing the score, it just means he should have had a better first jump.
@ChristianEggers As much as i'd love to agree, aerials is the most unforgiving sport in the entire world. 2 jumps is not enough, one small mistake and you are out. Do you know who COMPLETELY DOMINATED THE ENTIRE AERIALS WORLD in 2010? No? Nobody else does either. His name is Anton Kushnir. Aerials punishes the very best there ever was on small errors (not big errors) by not even letting them make finals. Take a look at Steve Omischl for another example. The Olympics is a microscope.

Amazing, especially coming from someone who has overcome so much in his life. Incredible athlete, incredible human being.
