Personally i think nerfs are ugly. There a must in mx racing and in the worcs series they make you have them, In the desert i would never use nerfs, just extra weight imo. Ive seen more of my friends get hurt with nerfs then my friends just with the ims pegs

yea but its so much safer to have them and they have like and unlimited budget and nerf bars dont cost that much. not having them on their quads is the stupidest move they couldve made

but one of them getting hung up on a root could cost them the race. and thats more important than racing. i know guys who race with the peg only. no nerf or heel guard. i personally use nerfs but go threw nets like its going out of style

nerfs get hung up in rocks and rutted out areas so easy...some riders use them...some dont

ur an idiot. just about every pro or other rider uses nerf bars to prevent injury of the foot. me and my cousin have nerf bars and race the gncc and never get them hung on rocks

yea youre right that most riders do use them...but when you ride thru deep ruts and dips they do tend to drag on the ground when you bottom out...at least the front of them do...usually the sides on most are angled up. I do know that bill ballance usually uses them. Ive seen him not use them before. I never see Borich use them. I also never see sommers use them.
