  • One of the out islands for sure...We loved Eleuthera, we stayed at Pineapple Cove. It's beautiful. The whole island is awesome.

Palmetto Point. near Governors Harbour. I have a Canadian friend who has a house there you can rent. sleeps 10 with a car, $200 per day.

  • Amazing natural beauty

  • The Outer Islands were incredible. Great Guana and Hopetown are beautiful. I climbed the striped watchtower in Hopetown, Abaco. Great weather, great sailing and snorkeling, beautiful people.

  • Wild and Civilized all at the same time! No Chain Hotels on Great Guana Cay! Loved it. Really felt like I had gotten away from it all. Lovely people.

  • Ya my dad lives in turks, we go to eleuthra a couple times nice place, though nassau has murders...

  • Turks and caicos is nicer

  • outer islands rule

  • I left with sand in my shoes but still haven't made it back to Abaco; a sorry state of affairs!

  • Great video. I remember many of these scenes. Brought back nice memories and makes me want to go back. Plan to enjoy all your OutIslands videos.

  • Yes, please!

  • those are some huge lizards!!

  • These are the endangered Bahamian Rock Iguana. They are protected species by law in the Bahamas. While they are great to make friends with, please be respectful. No HUNTING, nor taking them off their islands, please. Let's do our part to keep them here for many generations of visitors to enjoy. THANKS

  • I just hope that I have an enjoyable experience though I would really LOVE TO GO TO THAT PART of the Bahamas/ that is why i want to go, to get away from fast paced city life

  • That is Rat Dog surfing that wave.

  • Yes, you are right! And Surfer Pete is shaking hands with our host. He and his wife own the surf shop nearby.

  • Who wrote the tune?

  • It's music we licensed through a third party site. The name of the song is "Come to the Mountain" and the noted composer on this file is "Yoni Gileadi (BMI) 100%".

Hope you enjoyed it. We think it is great and captures the spirit of our Out Islands experience as well as pays homage to the culture and traditions of the Bahamians who settled these fantastic islands.

  • I love Eleuthera, it is my home away from home...

  • I didn't realize the Bahamas was like this. I guess I should look at the other Bahamian islands of the Out Islands.

They are such more beautiful and secluded than Atlantis and Nassau, which is all most people ever think about when it comes to the Bahamas. I wish I knew about this years ago.

  • dragonflier did you do the cruise, my hubby and I are, but want to stay away from the shopping and commerce.

  • Just a little bit of trivia, the Out Islands are too shallow for the cruise ships, which may be one reason they are not as crowded and developed. They are not as easy to get to in this manner, which keeps them less commercial and charming. It's no less wonderful, as a vacation destination, though.

  • Come visit the Out Islands of the Bahamas and you can have a vacation experience like this.

  • Gorgeous footage and I love the music, which is very inviting and catchy. I miss the Out Islands. I forgot how beautiful they are.

  • Nice Footage and Music
