There's no Oscar award that's big enough to reward this performance here. Can any Oscar-nominated actor handle this scene? Maybe Jack Nicholson, but no one else. And Capt. Rhodes says so. :)
@0sAndOnes That's definitely true. I don't know how I forgot about Samuel L. Jackson. I can see and hear him delivering these lines. The good thing about Nicholson and Jackson is that they can simmer and also RAGE, and that tension or edge is always there, even if they're saying "quiet" lines. Hahaha, about shooting some people. He might even first toy with some people, shooting them in the leg or arm, and then finish them off if they slow the team down.
Rhodes is actually the only smart person in this movie. The doctors are so fuckin' stupid in this movie, it is actually Rhodes who says that they should get a helicopter and go to an Island. The doctor learns the zombies to work a gun thats smart.
I would follow Capt. Rhodes anywhere, shit, I'd fucking die for him!
