The thing that makes it so hard to convince people otherwise about religion is that its most likely what they were raised their whole lives to believe. The were woken up every sunday by their family, taken to church, and taught about god. The reason why they dont accept science is because god is all they ever heard about. I just can't bring to support any religion that tries to preach tolerance and peace, when they have murdered more people than anyone in history. Christianity teaches it's followers that Jesus Christ was born on the 25th of December, when in the bible it says he was born mid July. The only reason why the church teaches it as the 25th of December is because there was a pagan festival on the 25th to celebrate the winter solstice. How can anyone support a religion that is so contrived?
Where did the big bang bang come from, where did that stuff come from. Example, you see a very complex role watch on the ground. A: it appeared there B: It assembled itself or C: a person designed and built it. HInt hint its C. If you put all the parts of a rolex in a box and shake it up (big bang) the watch will not be formed. Dna and life in general is way to complex to not have a hand guiding it. I'm done arguing with random people, although you do pose some interesting points. I am fully aware of the two scenarios that you talk about, although I think you don't fully understand what God is. He is omnipresent - that means he is everywhere, yet at the same time no where. He is not a man, he is a spirit and comprises of three parts - the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. He is the creator of everything, so why couldn't he have created the big bang etc?

Ask any scientist, anywhere, about the Domino Effect. This applies to the creation of the universe in the sense that you cant have something happening from nothing. There has to be something there that starts it off. If there was a sphere if infinite density, then someONE must have knocked the "dominoes" to start off the chain reaction.

@GokzTT The beauty of nature follows the laws of physics. Matter has gravity. Greater the matter - more gravitational pull. Bacteria is formed in the ocean and slowly evolve into fish, those fish evolve to amphibians > reptiles > birds > mammals/prehistoric > Human. There's a lot I'm leaving out due to the character count. But basically, nature says humans and monkeys are 99% alike. Paleolithic/Neanderthals show both monkey and homosapian characteristics.

From a creationist point of view they could say that this is the result of micro evolution...... micro evolution, seriously we just disproved the creationist age of the earth. Calculate the volume of the earth by taking the diameter + the height ---

You now have the volume of the "earth" up to mount Arat. Then you calculate the volume of the earth without the height of the mountain. Take the volume of the earth - the volume of your previous volume, do you see how much water there would have been. I just can't bring to support any religion that tries to preach tolerance and peace, when they have murdered more people than anyone in history. Christianity teaches it's followers that Jesus Christ was born on the 25th of December, when in the bible it says he was born mid July. The only reason why the church teaches it as the 25th of December is because there was a pagan festival on the 25th to celebrate the winter solstice. How can anyone support a religion that is so contrived?

Where did the big bang bang come from, where did that stuff come from. Example, you see a very complex role watch on the ground. A: it appeared there B: It assembled itself or C: a person designed and built it. HInt hint its C. If you put all the parts of a rolex in a box and shake it up (big bang) the watch will not be formed. Dna and life in general is way to complex to not have a hand guiding it. The greatness of earth does not happen by a random reaction and explosion.

@TheSniperJam There are two theories on what will happen 1. the universe keeps expanding because all matter moves away from the center of the universe where a nebula continues to create more stars, or 2. the gravity of all matter pulls it together and moves back to the center, where they get so compact and collapse on eachother ANOTHER big bang happens. which one is more plausible? The two theories i just mentioned or a big man up in the sky with a beard watching over 6 billion people.

He is omnipresent - that means he is everywhere, yet at the same time no where. He is not a man, he is a spirit and comprises of three parts - the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. I understand what you mean by someone or someTHING must have created matter/atoms/polyatomic particles etc. But what if nothing did? What if it was energy that created it? There has to be something there that starts it off. If there was a sphere if infinite density, then someONE must have knocked the "dominoes" to start off the chain reaction.

I actually said that Wings' knowledge of science was shit. @RHCP723 Religious people choose to ignore facts and common sense in order to believe something that doesnt make sense if you think about it logically. There is proof that we came from evolution. There is proof that god did not create this world 12000 years ago like the bible says. Think about this logically. Can people walk on water? No. Can people live to be over 600 years old? No. Can virgins have babies? No. There is no such thing as magic, get over it.

I could tell you arguments from both sides including physics, evolution, history, and theology. I might even be able to change your mind about religion altogether. I only said I might be able to change your perspective and make you more open minded, but honestly it's very hard to persuade someone through YouTube comments with their character caps. And even if I wanted to it wouldn't make a difference because there are still thousands of other people who think like you. So as for now I'm done replying unless you have something constructive.

I can see how the theory of evolution works but i'm sorry but there is more proof that a man named jesus who had 12 followers lived (at the same era as mentioned in the bible) than of julies ceaser even being born. That creature that changes its colours, it's not due to "natural selection", it's because of the creature's emotions, that's a "fact". @GokzTT The beauty of nature follows the laws of physics. Matter has gravity. Greater the matter - more gravitational pull. Bacteria is formed in the ocean and slowly evolve into fish, those fish evolve to amphibians > reptiles > birds > mammals/prehistoric > Human. There's a lot I'm leaving out due to the character count. But basically, nature says humans and monkeys are 99% alike. Paleolithic/Neanderthals show both monkey and homosapian characteristics.
