Diplomatic Immunity is NOT a license to just commit whatever crimes you feel like. Rudd practically declared war on the LA police department, which is legally tantamount to declaring war on the US itself. Are you kidding? With this evidence, they have enough to put that cop away for good! The evidence would show that the diplomat was killed by a shot from the cop's revolver. There is no substantial proof that it was self defense, besides the fact the diplomat had a gun. But maybe the cop assaulted the guy, and the diplomat was protecting himself. Either way, it would favor the diplomat because he's from another country. Your mind is closed. See beyond what seems "obvious'.
