She is crazy dangerous enough that I would take all the backup I can get in case she was setting me up. To her "credit" Batman said that she was closer to killing him than the Joker ever was.
The very last statement she makes at the end pretty much sums it up. She is a nut crazy enough to fall in love with the Joker who makes her look sane.
I must admit it is hard not to like her. She is funny, fun loving and really hot. There is also a pathetic quality to her that makes it hard not to feel sorry for her. You get the feeling that if she was ever able to break it off with the Joker she would turn into a harmless nut.
Harley is seriously underrated. I don't know why, but I've always kind of had an immense affinity for her character. She seemed fairly attractive to me, and yes she has a touch of innocence. I liked the analogy that the directors/producers used here where she represents a cute young cheerleader, and ends up falling for the self-conceited, and malevolent thug in high school. The Joker may abuse her consistently just like everything else, but without her it would make him completely inhuman.

I think they could incorporate Harley Quinn into the new Batman franchise, just make her darker like they did with all the characters. Speaking of the franchise before Batman Begins/The Dark Night, there was supposed to be another one with Harley Quinn as the Joker's daughter out for revenge and Madonna playing her, but it never got made. I'd like to see Harley in the new Batman movie, but would they recast Joker?

@bononcrusher2 Let me get my nerd on. In Return of the Joker the two girls (Dee Dee) that run with the Jokerz gang are Harley's grand daughters. In the end, when she bails them out of jail, they call her Nana Harley. So yes, Harley had kids at some point; but that's weird because the true Joker died at a time when Harley had no desire to have kids of her own. So maybe she went straight and found a nice guy? The Creeper? lol
