  • Amazing voice, I can't wait to hear the final settled voice.

  • Why are so many people trying to give him advice on here? He goes to a school specifically for music, I am sure they will be able to give him better advice than the people commenting on youtube!

  • I really like the "refrain" - but I hear some weaknesses in the silent parts: melodic secureness, tones, odem and the overall linking of the tones and the overall closeness and coherence of this music. You should make a personal attempt to get more secure - dare something new - to reach this closure of inner elements and structures that makes you open in the end

  • Andrew! Listen to the Dariusz Paradowski- natural baritne with head voice skills and full dramatic soprano voice. Try to do it!

  • So very Beautiful! Just Beautiful! Check out a jazzy attempt chrissylaurel54

  • i got goosebumps the whole time until the end... 5-stars Andrew!!!

  • Just tell me when you make your next album and I want that hymn on it with all the verses! Its my favorite hymn! and you sing it best already & will only get better!

  • Powerful, simply powerful.

  • his voice is so beautiful now that it has changed. he looks so much better. amazing. his voice is now soooooo beautiful as it always was.

  • Keep singing Andrew, it's still special and will end up just as spectacular when it's done changing....

  • I would like to know how you went from a 1st, 2nd sophrono voice and one year later to a baratone, I expected you to have more of a voice a range...Like 1st and 2nd tenor. Even 1st alto...You had 2nd Alto..Not straight to Baratone...Still sounds GREAT...

  • OMG so so beautiful <:"D

  • Your voice has changed. However, We expected that when you started to become a man. Your voice is still beautiful Adrew and AMAZING!

  • D: hey your speaking voice is kind of resonant, I thought at the time you were on British got talent you would end up with a light voice after puberty. But dude the color of your voice is stillas beautiful as before. Dont stop to train your voice, youre in a really good age and nothing is said yet of what you become. Keep on rockin and hope to see you in an opera stage in some ages

  • Trained or not, you voice is beautiful and brilliant. I look forward to your next album. Amanda was right. Your voice is a gift.

  • Wow Andrew, what a voice! Love it! So deep and resonant. Just make sure you keep on singing........we all want to hear you!

  • I think you are progressing well, Andrew. The solo performance of the 7 verses over about 6 minutes (in E minor) showed a lot of vocal endurance, considering the transition that is occurring; I don't think it's a 'quick hymn' though. As you grow, all these fine ingredients will come together..

I also commented on Pie Jesu,

"A fine singer in the making.. Keep at it Andrew.. There are many more opportunities to for you to sing, and I say, 'grasp them with two hands".

    You have listened well..

  • @jmcgatkinson Andrew has a new official website that you might like to take a look at if you put in andrewjohnstonofficial and then dot com you should find it - you can also hear him sing at Xmas on the website - alternatively if you put andrew johnston xmas 2010 into 'youtube' you can find the latest video of him singing and hear the progress he is making

  • Andrew, your voice just keeps getting more and more beautiful! I loved your young voice, and I REALLY LOVE your CD!!! It's beautiful! You really have amazing talent, and you sing from the heart! I love that baritone voice and I can't wait to hear your adult voice! You're AWESOME, and you are an inspiration to me. Thank you for sharing your beautiful music with us, and thank you for being such a wonderful person as well!

  • DAMN! Testicles fuck EVERYTHING up!

  • Wow. I love his "new" voice better than his younger voice. It's alot more powerful.

  • why dont u try singing love songs

  • totalna zmiana łał!!!!!!!super, czekam za nową płytą

  • OMG! he looks so different now, so grown up and handsome.

  • Andrew, this is such beautiful work through your transition; your current baritone has such a warm timbre. I'm truly looking forward to following your adult career.

I happened upon this video after commenting on one of your older Facebook posts today; you're clearly managing your studies, repertoire and vocal health in outstandingly. You're a great inspiration for young students.

  • Wow... what a change...from a big boy with a little voice(an awesome angelic voice) to a young MAN with a huge voice...(untrained?? Underdeveloped??) Who Knew? I cant wait to see whats next I wonder if you should take some physical training to put a little oomph behind the voice?

  • @unpoetaloco Please don't sound like David Daniels. Sound like Dmitri Hvorostovsky or better how about Andrew Johnston, super baritone!

  • Oh yay! a barihunk at last!

  • Andrew, your "unsettled" voice is amazing! I absolutely love your voice and I don't even like this kid of music, but you are slowly converting me :)

Please keep up the beautiful singing. You're awesome!!

  • That great "unsettled" voice comes from a towering 6'1", goodlooking, 15 year old young man. What more can we ask for? This lad's a complete package!

  • i still like the cute little andrew johnston. give him back!!!

  • I was so glad to come upon this video. Beautiful tree! I have One Voice (love it!) and knew that you were growing up and your voice was changing. I have often wondered how you were doing and what your voice might sound like now. You've got a great talent and I really like your "new" voice. Your training has stood you in good stead. No one can take those skills away from you. I look forward to many more CDs from you.

  • Andrew!! Thank you, this is lovely. What a transformation...quite amazing!!

    You have a great voice.

  • Andrew! Amazing! Lovely, rich, majestic . . . you are set apart from so many childhood choral singers, whose only talent is in the high timbre of their voice. You clearly have a fine instrument no matter what the key. Bravo!

  • beautiful! time for a quality video where your fans can see you!

  • Oh, my goodness! he went from a beautiful boy to steller man. what a transition!!! all of this in a year (impressive). Some have that it factor and you are that it son

  • andrew u are amazing better than any of the other teenage singers i know!

  • I am glad you can sing again. There should be a good teacher to help you with an advise so you d go through that voice change.

It was so sad when Declan Galbraith lost his voice (it sounds like it -I am not an expert) I think you have a wonderful gift so it is not important that you did not win BGT.

  • I knew his journey was only just beginning. What a beautiful voice this young man is developing as he matures. God Bles you and your family . Nice to see that he is having some fun.

  • Dear Andrew, thank you for making today so special for me. I had never heard of you prior to today so, to hear you sing at your first audition for BGT and then on this video is amazing. Your voice is still so beautiful but it now has a wonderful maturity. Thank You.

  • Andrew - I have been blessed in my lifetime to hear you channel such angelic innocence in your voice over the last 2 years. Time travels so quickly and I admit I couldn't believe I was listening to the same Andrew - but there is no question you continue to be that angelic channel for God's peace I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to experience your gift on many levels. Many blessings on your journey~ You are graciously welcome on Wisdom Wide Open Radio anytime...we'd be honored.

  • Andrew Johnston should definitely join Britain's got talent and audition again , he'd definitely win, he's got a wonderful voice.. !!

  • Brilliant !!

  • what a beautiful voice, congratulations.from Mexico

  • We have another Pavarotti in the making.

  • i really hope andrew shows up for a semi final performance for the next season like all the other 2008 finalists did last year

  • Dude you are so amazing! That is the voice of saints. I m wondering if your throat is made by God himself.

  • He's voice is amazing isn't it? He never stops facinating me. Well, God created everything so definitely his throat is made by God himself. But what I learned from Andrew is that when a person makes good use of what God has given him or her, develops it and makes it flourish, this is what happens. Andrew is such an inspiration for all to develop what God has created in them. I myself am discovering what he's given me and get inspiration from Andrew to develop it. :D

  • Reality check folks, he's young and growing and lets not avoid the future where he may have a voice crack or grow several inches and normally suffer a tone drop from the mere increased body mass in the throat. Good luck to him, and don't write him off if his voice changes and you find a new toy to amuse and entertain you.

  • A M A Z I N G ! ! ! !

  • Yep, you still got it. You sound so mature when you sing. The transition thing will be a piece of cake.

  • It may not be your "settled" voice yet, but you're well on your way to a beautiful final result and a great career ahead. What a great talent!

  • The 'new voice' sounds great, Andrew.

    Maybe the next Aled Jones?

  • Let´s hope not!!

  • Simply beautiful!

  • i cant wait for an album with the new voice......world wide concerts, i hope..very best wishes for your future

  • wow.

    hes so hot :)

    and that voice is ammaaazingggg.

  • Wow, what a great, warm, full voice! Wonderful to hear how it has matured. Keep it up & enjoy the ride!

  • Andrew, you are an amazing singer! Bravo! Thanks for uploading! Have a Merry Christmas and all the best in 2010! Season's Greetings from the United States of America!

  • You have a voice to be very proud of.. I always wished I had more power in my voice, but I've never got any 'real' vocal practice. I do sing in a choir now, but well, I can't help thinking about how good/bad/who knows I might have been if I'd started as a kid.. Oh well. :D

Anyway, I really do hope (and believe) that you'll keep on working with music for as long as you find it appealing to do so. Music in it's proper sense is much like water - flowing, free and essential. ;)

    ~L~

  • Thank you for posting!!! Not that I am getting tired of the other (younger) Andrew, I still listen to him everytime I'm in my car. But I am thrilled about new songs being sung by Andrew. Thanks!!! Amazing 'new' voice!

  • That training really paid of. Wonderful voice and you still have it.

I'll miss that beautiful treble but what a wonderful gift the new voice is as well.

    Well Done Andrew

  • Here's one future priceless find. Bring him to the GRAMMY!

  • Hi Andrew!! thank you so so much for this post. I love your voice and I admire the spirit in your voice v!! Your voice is really soaring and maturing so beautifully!! I really enjoy watching you grow. wow!! so great!!

  • Keep the hair! You are very handsome, but now you're HOT! I'm American, so maybe that's why I like it long. Lol. Your voice is changing, but that might be a signal for you to go on to the next new phase of your career. You are gifted, but always remember where this gift came from. God.

  • If this is untrained voice, I can't wait until we hear you when your training will be over. I wish I could sing half that good!

  • mate wicked ur image is ur own so screw them un trained my butt mate well done keep it up

  • Andrew: Thank you for the link! Your voice is powerful and beautiful, I *love* your singing. Merry Christmas, Andrew. I read some of the comments below regarding your hair. My feelings about your hair is be yourself, have your own style and love what you do and you will always be a success! Remember that Luciano Pavarotti, Placido Domingo, Samuel Ramey (and the list goes on) had longer hair with beard and mustache as well....so enjoy being you, you're great!!!

  • Andrew, I listen to your voice each morning to raise my spirits. Your Christmas greeting is wonderful. Happy Christmas to you and your family and God Bless. I will be anxious to follow your career. Can't wait to buy all of your future CDs! Your hair is fine!

  • OI! People stop telling him to get a haircut, his hair is awesome. Hush silly people.

    tut tut...

  • Very pleased! Excellent Excellent...but you need a haircut! Love ya!

  • I second edmondov, this is exciting Andrew, take care of that voice lad you are awesome and when its settled i'l have every album you ever make, god bless you andrew

  • Yes, a haircut would help your public make the transition with you.

  • Three things:

    1. Never stop singing. It is so wonderful to hear your "untrained" voice. Absolutely Beautiful.......

    2. Get a Haircut!

    3. Read #1 again.

  • I guess you want to know what people make of your changed voice. I must say it's pleasing and powerful to hear. The way you speak has matured. You must be pleased with yourself but no doubt unsure at the complete departure from the "trained voice". As we hear you hear back that your voice is both powerful and pleasing. It sounds a lot older than your are and no doubt with mature along with you as the years go by. I for one look forward to your next CD.

  • Awesome!

  • If you don't make another album I will shoot myself.

  • WOW!!!!!!

    What a change.

    FANTASYIC

  • Good to see you have grown up to stunning young man, Andrew!

  • what are you a bass or baritone? Sounds like a baritone :) Love it.

  • Bravo , Andrew!!! Where is the Christmas Album I was waiting for???

  • Lovely performance, Andrew. Please keep treating your voice gently for the next decade. That way you will be like Ernest Lough - singing marvellously, well into your eighties. I look forward to hearing your fully trained voice when you are 25. God bless.

  • Andrew, this is truly beautiful! Well done, Son. I can't wait for the next CD. I got the first one. Carry on......God has His hand on you.

  • Oh my God

    Andrew sings !

The longer term that I waited to hear the voice of Andrew

Properly change the sound but the performance was great, fantastic!

Andrew I love you, whatever the circumstances!

  • Andrew: You sound as good as Andrea Bocelli, except better! You'll be as good an artist as he, any day! I had to listen with a tear in my eye. Transition from boy to man is always emotional. Beautiful Angelic Voice as a boy, Beautiful Resounding Voice as a man. Love you Andrew. Carol

  • Still amazing!

    Keep up the good singing.

    :)

  • From boy to man.... keep singing, you have a wonderful voice. Hope you have a good Chistmas and hope to see you performing in the New Year.

  • When I first saw you and heard you sing, I cried at the beauty before me. Now I see how you've grown from a boy to a man in such a short time! And though different, your voice is just as stunning as it was then. You are a lovely young man, quite adorable, with a gorgeous voice and I can't wait to keep enjoying your music! Don't ever stop if it's what you love doing, Andrew. Congratulations, dear.

  • Wonderful! :) Can't believe how much you have grown up............... Beautifull voice.

All the very best Andrew :)
