I love this version personally because it is differnt to Pink not better or worse. It really fits the way they used it in the episode. I also always think of Darren when Blaine/Darren sings the line "they don't get my hair" because he had to cut his huge curly afro for the part as Blaine.

The problem I have with songs like this one talking about how you're perfect just because you're born this way is that we're not. Nobody's perfect, we all make mistakes and do things wrong, we can't just dismiss that by saying I should never feel anything less than perfect and fully satisfied with who i am instead of trying to actually improve ourselves. I know that they're trying to reach out to people but the balance seems to be swinging too far the other way.

@Enuzzle It's kind of hard for me to explain it to you, as I'm not sure if Pink was actually subject to bullying/wasn't perfect (was a nerd/ugly/fat). So I'm not sure where she was actually coming from in terms of her singing in the "first person" (the parts like "welcome to my silly life"). But I believe this song has to do with things you can't help/emotions you have. Like, you can't help being fat, you like computer games. And in worse cas scenarios, hurting yourself for being different.

However, I feel like with Klaine singing it, the song just has another meaning to it. Like... they give it another dimension.
