  • where is the fight? why couldn't they just film it normally, from a distance? why all the camera cuts?

  • fucking genius

  • bullshit

  • why is this crazy jap karate chopping my head!?

  • what an assshole

  • what a dick

  • Mas Oyama lists his only LOSS to a Tai Chi Master.

  • poor bull

  • Jon Bluming, said "The story about Oyama fighting bulls is not true, he never met a real bull, for he never visited Spain. I also doubt that he was gored, for he never told me about it, and he used to tell me everything. Kenji Kurosaki was there, and he told me what happened. They went early in the morning to a stockyard in [the town of] Tateyama. Workmen prepared a fat old ox for Oyama by hitting one of its horns with a hammer so that it was quite loose.

  • Oyama did not kill the ox, he only knocked off the loose horn. Bill Backhus and I saw the 16mm movie in 1959. Oyama himself showed it to us. I told Oyama to never show this film in Europe because it looked too phony, and everyone would laugh at him. As far as I know, nobody saw that movie again." Furthermore, Oyama himself has admitted that the oxen were old

  • it's big lie and mystification.Oyama never fought vs bull. Jon Bluming in his book " From Street Punk to Tenth Dan" told the truth abuot this lie.Oyama was big businessman and big mystificator.

  • i don't know. a large raging bull out to kill, i think, would destroy oyama by tossing him like a rag doll and then goring him to death. the evidence is lacking to me; ha, i mean, the bull in this video looks like it was someone's pet or something.

  • I like how a bull kills someone but its bad, a man kills a bull its the end of the earth. Also those who never realized a bull can weigh 2000 lbs but if you go for its center of gravity it feels like 100 lbs These Youtube scientist wanna be's believe the impossible and go by what they read on wikipedia instead of trying it.

  • yamaguchi punched a tiger, forget bullying bulls.

  • Could he fight a tiger too?

  • Funny you never get to actually see the strike that severs the horn or the kills the bull completed, isn't it? Hmmmmm.

  • I respect Kyokoshin, but this is BullShit, the Bull is Tame, has a ring to the nose and rope attach to it, So its not a fair fight, Lets see Mas Oyama fight a Wild Bull, without rope and rings to the nose, Mas will get slaughtered, Its just propaganda

  • @bryantherocker Actually camera man cut out the horn scene because it was very gross Mas Oyama should not be underestimated

  • @bryantherocker Yes it wasn't bull - it was old oxen.

  • i'd prefer that cow as a steak on my plate

  • Oyama he was a great man. ! RIP

  • He could kill a bull with one blow, they said hechooped off bull horns with one blow as well, truly he deserved the title God Fist.

  • Animal Cruelty.

  • @Tigersphilosophy 300 man kumite*

  • Totalmente ridículo e innecesario. ¿Dónde está el honor en una muestra de arrogancia e ignorancia como esta?

  • why he broke his horn............

  • its just not physicall possible to best an actual bull in strength. Mature bulls can weigh up to 2000-2800 lbs for the more "average" type breeds including Angus, Holstein, Brahman, Galloways, Charolais, and many others. Chianinas can weigh over 3000 lbs (heaviest recorded over 3500 lbs), and mini-breed bulls and Dexter bulls can reach 1000 to 1400 lbs. at most oyama weighs 240 the only way he could take down an actual bull is if it were starved and deprived of energy or damaged beforehand

  • In fact, the bull horns was pre-cut ...

  • GET ready..!!!! Falcoln PUNCH!!

  • ridiculous

  • OSU

  • What a laod of bull.

  • Osu

  • At first bulls, then massacre in Nanking. Ai Ki!

  • ぷぷぷぷぷぷぷぷぷぷぷぷ(笑)

  • then he raped bull

  • I don't see him killing a bull! Even the horns weren't broken by Oyama. A promotion film for stupid believers in Europe and USA.

  • what bull fight, that small bull i.e calf was subdued with the nose ring and tether, just a promo video for his school at the time

  • a man kills a bull with his bare hands, ye right! what the fuck is the world coming to? i dont care who you are a bull would destroy any man in seconds. get a grip of yourselves!

  • ??????????何がしたのか意味が分からない。

    闘争心の無い牛にやらせをしても意味はなし

    。

  • Oyama Bullshit

  • at least he fights the bull like a man not like those idiots in spain with there sword and there friends to help them

  • @yassigole you do realize that not only was the bull old, but it was also tied to a stake and they loosened the horn with a hammer before they filmed this?

John Blurming 1 of Mas Oyama's student said that in the time he trained with Mas he never saw him fight a bull for real nor did he mention it After he showed him this film. John told Oyama he'd be laughed at for this video in Europe and Oyama never showed this film again. Kenji Kurosaki, Oyama's first grandmaster student said confirmed this.

  • @rrtodd95 so i guess the storys of going in the forrest alone for a year and training 12 hours a day 7 days a week were also bullshit.but i think even so he was still a very strong guy.who imroved the fighting sports with hes talent and dedication.

  • @yassigole I don't doubt that he went into the mountains and trained on his own for hours, weeks and months at a time alone but this bull video is just bullshit.

  • @yassigole Go see his documentary Masutatsu Oyama Doco vids his friends will tell you the truth, Also Kyokushin was originally not a sport.

  • @rrtodd95 Well at the end of the day he created Kyokushin and its a beast of a fighting style!

  • @eoinb57 Only an idiot would argue against that. In my opinion the deadliest of the stand up fighting styles.

  • @yassigole I like sword fighting but not in these cirumstances too :/ if youre a man, you'd only use a weapon to fight against a weapon. (and crap watching these bulls dying by spitting blood is waay more tragic and shit-ass-load-dropper Titanic)

  • @yassigole you idiots don know about tradition.

  • pure evolution biological speaking the most successful mammals on the planet besides us are cows and pigs, they are even in far larger numbers then us remember its all about spreading the genes

  • Damn animal rights activists, like they are so much better than anyone. Well, guess what, ya'r not. Who are you to say that a dog's life is more precious than that of a fish or an ant for that matter? Are you a god all of a sudden? This is one of the strongest man ever lived, and all the comments are about soft-ass animal rights and cruelty bs.

  • I'd heard stories about those 'bullfights' long before I saw the video and I must admit I'm kinda disappointed. First of all - this isn't even a bull. It's a calf. Second - it's tied up and disorientated. Not only is it easier to handle a calf with a rope around its semi-developed horns but it's really not such a big deal to control a young cow with a ring in its nose. I'm sorry guys, I don't claim I would do better, but despite that I can't call this a fight. Its a show-off execution.

  • But maybe your right and I'm wrong of course, it's the law of nature.. The nazist thought of the Jews as animals, no human beings so that means I can eat them without cruelty? Please don't judge me after my bad examples instead try to understand that people are different and that not everybody has the same thoughts as you, I would only kill an animal in self defence, kicking a dog is like kicking a little child in my eyes, they are both not capable of defending themselfes. Thanks!

  • A life is still a life, hope you understand that someday.. Yes I agree with you Sfuganix but the human race is only thinking for itself and not even for it's own kind, for example the poor people on Africa or other poor people in other places, we don't give a shit and even if we did we would probebly only send 100 $ and for that brag and feel good for the rest of our lives.

  • He should of fought big rodeo bulls.

  • >:( seriously. man vs a bull. stuff your tofu somewhere else.

this is how you make steaks by hand.

take your hippy flower peta boo hoo cry over a happy meal crap elsewhere.

this is truly manly, and proves that a man can take out a bull with his bare hands.

  • @mad1966dog lol ur retarded

  • i mean bruce lee

  • you this guy right here he trained my dad back in the days. and this guy killed 53 bulls. oyoma knows how to fight korean style, japenese, and chinese. how do i know all this because he trained my dad back in the days and he just told me about it today. but oyama is dead now. he was a very good fighter. maybe even better then jet lee or whoever that guy is.

  • Oyama its a legend

  • The sum of Oyama's knowledge and ability is impressive, some of his intentions and actions, less so. (Just like the rest of us.) Honor him for the first, pardon him for the second.

  • lol that bull was prob druged or had its bollex cut off, fucking i don't care whether your some kid of samurai chink master an angry ton bull would fuck him up

  • @TheKlaj1992 no, oyama spent his whole life training, he trained 14 monrhs in the wild and the only thing he had was his katana and knife. the bull wasen't drugged

  • I wanna see it do it to a pissed off bull aha

  • Oyama Karate is for idiots

  • @mad1966dog so im an idiot? its called Kyokushin karate not oyama karate stupid.

  • @henrAyTheDutchBoy ..i know that you dutch prick. I know the full oyama bullshit story and that he did shotokan and goju ryu...oyama ego bullshit karate. Karate for idiots.

  • @mad1966dog Lol, you sound pretty stupid. Please an hero.

  • Comment removed

  • @mad1966dog umad bro

  • @mad1966dog i'd rather be a karate idiot than a faggot like you.

  • @mad1966dog if your any better than please do show us fight 100 people in full contact one after the other or anything

  • these videos are pissing me off is there an oyama bull video where it actually shows him cutting of the horns and killing it all videos stop when it is suppose to happen or skip it. i was told about how kool it was by my sensea when he was a kid and i want to see it.

  • @krazychris61 its fake, all of them are fake. its Sonny Chiba in a movie. Look for "Sonny chiba ruthlessly kills a bull"

  • and where was the "fight"? i only saw a eating cow and a japanese in boxer shorts who tries to kill the cow with one hit...two hits...three....and the cow still eating:-D..

  • @scientistMUC79 you idiot oyama is a KOREAN the grew up in japan

  • The bull didn't die. Just throwing that out there for the dumbasses.

  • There's a reason why hunting and animal slaughter exists.

To prevent overpopulation to prevent inbreeding and diseases.

There's a difference between killing and animal cruelty people!

This bull is being killed in a matter of minutes.

While you stupid liberal hippies are complaining about a bull that has been dead for 40 years there's a basket of kittens on the side of the road, and dozens of puppies crammed in a cage called puppy mills.

Idiots, learn to pick a fight that matters.

  • Kenji Kurosaki was there, and he told me what happened. They went early in the morning to a stockyard in [the town of] Tateyama. • First off with all the editing it is clerly a montage. The possibility of confronting a bull head-on was probably inspired by bullfighting and how they run down the bull before sending in the toreador.

  • fucking hippies

  • parlour tricks

  • Hey, I love animals as much as the next guy, but it's a man fighting a BULL who's easily 10 times his weight and more than capable of killing him is pretty bad ass. He doesn't have a sword or a cape or a team of men on horses helping him... he's got his bare hands. I wouldn't mind seeing him up against a bear, gorilla, rhino, lion, or a tiger but I'd put a bull in the top ten of most dangerous animals on land after a few more big cats... and can't forget about Mr. Elephant. *STOMP*

  • @HollywoodCC no, there are police around the place in case something happen, see my channel

  • mah, for me, killing animals isnt really true karate style...if you want to prove your power, try destroying stone with your head. or fight a true fight in an mma cage or k1.

  • lol. the bull doesn't even have the intention to kill him. guess what if it has...

  • @idymface It's Masutatsu Oyama giving a demonstration of his striking power in like the 50's I think. He wanted to show how strong he could hit so he karate chopped some bulls. This one's horn came off. 3 of them died. They were all going to be slaughtered anyway. Still, I am against making an animal suffer. Even though I respect this martial artists skills, I wish he wouldn't have done this. I do eat meat but I don't think there's a reason to harm it for entertainment is all.

  • This is not karate. Karate respecting live.

  • The bull is giving no fight. Oyama San has shown that the totality of his 'skills' amount to him killing a dumb passive animal. This is a freak show and this man is a disgrace to true Karate.

  • Damn he tenderizes his meat before its even dead!

  • hay una mejor manera de matar toros y karatekas proba mi polvora chupame el culo oyama este video es re trucho

  • Where is a complete video of this? Ōyama Masutatsu is the man. I am going to eat a big ass steak now.

  • What do any of you pussies know about "honor"? The fact is this is an impressive display of human power. Losers.

  • @RaizerZ he never killed any bulls,it was completely faked as verified by several western kyokushin masters who trained in japan at the time.

  • @billysue2 Nope

  • @billysue2 Finally someone who tells the truth about this! If you could, I'd like to get to the bottom of this. Do you happen to know where I could find the verification you talk about? I've maintained for years that these videos show nothing that documents Oyama's story but people will unfortunately see what they want to see. The video cuts away at impact and handling a bull by the ring in its nose is no trick, that's why they put them there.

  • @MrMZaccone steve arneil, jeff whybrow and jon bluming all mention in interviews ive read over the years that oyamas feats including bull killing and bottle chopping were complete bullshit. The bottle trick invoves cutting the neck off a free standing bottle without breaking the rest of it with a knife hand chop.

  • @billysue2 Thanks. I appreciate it. I was a solid believer in my younger days but the more I searched for actual footage or other proof of it the more I was dissapointed and the more skeptical I became. The bottle trick I've known for some time although the way I know to semi-fake it involves heat stressing the neck of the bottle with a string soaked in gasoline, wrapped around the neck and then burned. I've done it, it works and makes you look impressive as hell.

  • aww TUFF GUY BEATING UP ON BULLS!! BULLS DONT SLIP PULL BACK AND LANUCH PUNCHES BITCH especially when they are on a rope with a nose ring!! by the look of that bull it was a well trained and well mannered bull.. LUCKY HIS ASS IS OLD NOW!!

  • @PharaohII Actually he died in 94...

  • I'm surprised at this video. I've never ever got this attitude towards animals from Karate teaching and people making macho comments saying this is ok are just revealing their arrogance and ignorance.

  • @lewars1912 It's got nothing to do with karate. Mas Oyama was strong, and hooked on fighting. Nobody would fight him, cuz he was so strong, so he picked his opponents from the animal kingdom. Not a very nice thing, but dont blame it on karate :P

  • A bull would kill me or any one of you in a couple of minutes! Image how hard Oyama would beat you up, considering he killed BULLS!!!

  • I'm not vegan hippy and I DESPISE PETA,; however hurting an animal to show off one's prowess is not honorable...

  • @thepalacemaid >>> I agree with you that this is not honorable but why do you despise PETA ?

  • THIS GUY IS A FUCKIN BAMF!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Except bull fights in spain involve SWORDS. I don't condone cruelty towards animals in any way but Oyama took on a full sized, pissed off, mother fucking BULL with his bare hands and won. There is a degree of badassitude to that which can't be argued. Any time you go up against a horned, clawed, or otherwise bigger, badder, and more-naturally equipped to kick your ass killing machine and pummel it retarded in hand-to-hand combat, it's inevitable that some degree of badass credibility is deserved

  • In fifty-two separate battles with full-sized, pissed-off steers, this guy killed three outright with one punch a feat that earned him the completely-awesome nickname "The Godhand", by the way and defeated 49 more by either wrestling them to the turf or chopping off their horns with a well-placed iron-plated judo chop.

  • @rpuck63 WTF? Judo chop? First of all there are no chops in judo for it is more of a wrestling think. And second, he's the founder of Kyokushin Karate :D

  • @RomeoSOF2 I've done judo. I'm aware its wrestling. Its just a phrase. I'm also aware he founded Kyokushin karate. Never said he anything about what he founded

  • @rpuck63 Ehh, it just sounded as if you would know nothing =D

  • Comment removed

  • Fuck you hippies! this bull was for slaughtery anyways damn... animals are made to eat..

  • @c0d24live23 you know you are an animal right?

  • @c0d24live23 Animals are made to eat? LoL, what? Animals are animals, and we choose to eat them. Are elephants made to eat? Tigers? Lions? Giraffes? When was the last time you ate one of those?

I don't necessarily have an issue with this. But when people are angered by animal slaughter. It's not because the animal is being killed to eat, it's the way in which it is killed.

Animals feel pain and experience a large range of emotions, just like people. Fear, sadness, anger, etc.

  • @Robopencil

animals are called animals because they kill and feed on eachother. It's oke for a lion to kill a deer and eat it,but for a human that would be a cruel thing to do? Man, you selfrighteous hippies annoy me beyond explanation.

  • @Sfuganix Man kills EVERYTHING every animal there is he kills. He kills himself kills animals and leaves the carcass to rot in the sun for shits and giggles and he is also breeding like flies hes evrywhere man paving rainforest for malls and dumping horrendous amounts of shit oil into the ocean and he kills the electric car, so you defend man then

  • @Sfuganix

Not to mention plants are also living creatures, yet all creatures especially humans need to feed on them to survive and use for medication. Haven't people learned anything from Lion King? Circle of Life dammit

  • @Sfuganix Yeah whatever, monkeyboy.

  • @Sfuganix we got self conciousness you acephal

  • @Sfuganix Ah i dont really think thats fair man cause a bull hasn't got morality and a conscience like humans do so its just plain animal cruelty!

  • @Sfuganix your logic is flawed, animals cannot produce the infrastructure or the weapons necessary to defend themselves from other animals in order to produce any agriculture etc so they cant grow their own food. animals kill out of necessity, we kill out of luxury. there is about 20X wheat soya barley etc that goes into cattle feed as the meat produced from it. last year in the USA alone half the food and water used was used on cattle feed, to produce 20X less food. learn the facts.

  • @Sfuganix I know right as long as you eat it it doesnt matter how you kill it. Might as well have some fun making it suffer as much as possible.

  • @Sfuganix as long as you eat or use what you kill thats fine in my opinion and in thenopinion of all the gameskeepers i know

  • @Sfuganix Killing a living being for the single fact of killing or entertainment is cruel though. (Nuances are always necessary)

  • @c0d24live23

yeah here's a comment tottaly not related to the video or my oppinions whatsoever

but just wait till i come and eat you ok?

u just an ugly-ass monkey man

and in some parts of afrika they would call you long-pig because u taste sweet like pork

  • @tipsy700 What a stupid comment. Is that supposed to frighten people?

  • @Razamabaz

no it is ment as an attempt to communicate on the same level as the author of the comment on wich i responded

  • @c0d24live23 nicely said!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @c0d24live23 You got that right. If our brains wouldnt got any protein from the meat we wouldnt evolve. And all of that plants lovers would be a vegetative plant. ;)

  • @straiker I feel a bit sorry for saying Fuck You on a Sosai's Oyama video :O I'm a Kyokushin man but yeah those people gotta' stop whining about this, it's 100% natural and it's the nature of human for killing animals for eating

  • to eat not to mistreat

  • what a pussy...think yourself in the situation of the bull...he dosn't know karate and he already has something bloody in his face (the rope with the hook), he also has no arms to defend himself... then some motherfucker comes in and hits him... and this should be what?? brave?? no man...this is as shitty as the bull fights in spain...

  • It's interesting to note how different the Asian arts and philosophy is. Karate is focus primarily on self defense fighting. While kung fu is more spiritual and self defense orientated. The Chinese's kung fu also known as gung fu is known as medicine. Just look at the shaolin monks if one wants an example. They practice a form of buddism known as Chan.

  • gay fake video

  • Masutatsu Oyama is not that good of a fighter he never killed any bulls

all you faggots have no fucking idea how strong a bull is

he would get his ass kicked today with the fighters we have

  • best

  • first of all, I am a Kendo student, not Karate but even so I'll add my 2 cents.

this guy may have been a great fighter but he certainly was not a great man.

there is no honour in killing a defenseless animal.

this is not what bushido teaches us, but I guess karate folks don't take bushido that seriously... at least this guy didn't.

"you should always be on the side of justice and show compassion towards your defeated enemy" so says the hagakure...

  • Vegy head how is a bull defenseless??? Just because you are afraid to test the effectivness of your art, DON'T HATE!!!!!!!

  • @ deerider: It's not the question if the animal is defenseless or not...

The animal is clearly put in the position to be attacked and might attack or defend accordingly, this clearly is not in alignment with the true spirit of karatedo.

One should respect nature and not provoke an unneeded attack.

  • I already had an inexplicable dislike for Kyokoshin, perhaps also because my brother was a Kyokoshin champion who didn't shun violence.

But when i found out Mas Oyama fought and killed multiple bulls i was just disgusted with the total lack of honor.

"Karate ni sente nashi" (There is no first attack in karate) - Gichin Funakoshi

  • you know him killing bulls is just myths

  • Tbh i have been watching some of his vids on YT.

And many of his demonstrations seem rigged to me.

Like the chopping of the beer bottle or the breaking of the blocks of ice, the third block of ice clearly is already pre-cut.

He obviously was a good martial artist, but i am in doubt if he deserves his legendary status.

Perhaps he was just motivated to be special because he was a Zainichi (Korean living in Japan).

  • he never killed any bull he's not a good fighter also

  • yes! at least where i train kyo karate you will get kicked out of the clubb for life if you make unnesesary acts of violence. Killing that bull is not cool, but really impressive, still negative tho.

  • Comment removed

  • @teamkali wtf are you on about you fight with a stick, karate is one of the most traditional martial arts going, i am a first dan in karate have been doing it for ten years and hold it with high resepct, look at any of the greats Kanazawa, Enoeda, Suzuki, even Gichin Funakoshi, read their teachings then comment back when you have some sort of knowledge of the world of martial arts that you do not participate in... oh and i have experience in numerous martial arts so i am not biased.

  • @teamkali Didn't take bushido serious? Mas Oyama? ... He gave his life for the bushido thing , he trained and trained all his life long , and the killing of the bulls was just a power-test of him , he also punched big tree's which made them shake.

Mas oyama was an honoured man , he took the samurai spirit back to japan , brought the honour back which was lost in war and opened everyone's eyes in the martial art world that with hard training you can achieve everything...

  • @c0d24live23 you should study some more on the martial arts in Japan before making such affirmations... Samurai did not fight Karate.

The "Samurai Spirit" as you call it, never left Japan and the Honour was not lost with the War; try reading Yukio Mishima for instance, he showed the World that Bushido was alive and kicking in the post-war...

  • You're partly right, sorry.

  • It was actually recommened to him never to let this video be seen because it is so obviously fake and phoney.

  • hurt an animal , could not be a true warrior ...-

  • You sound like such a pussy. Warriors didn't get big and strong from picking berries and eating grass. Oyama killed the bull then fucking ate it because he was the fucking GOD FIST. OSU!

  • you cant kill bull faggot

  • very right..

  • I clearly agree with Greenarrow88 and not with BodyByGamma, just to make that extra clear.

In no way can one justify senseless violence.

You do realize btw that MMArtists like Mac Danzig and Ricardo Moreira are Vegans and there are many more martial artists who are Vegetarians..

It also has been suggested that Bruce Lee ate Vegetarian towards the end of his life and his general diet consisted mainly of fruits and vegetables.

And last but not least the legendary Shaolin Monks are vegetarians.

  • bruce lee eats meat

  • He perhaps ATE meat at certain points in his life, and like i said it has been suggested i am not sure how vegetarian he really was.

We do know however that is diet was strongly plant based and he avoided animal proteine.

  • @Greenarrow88

He didn't kill a dog or something. He killed a fucking bull. It's not defenseless at all! it could kill you if it felt like. And this guy killed it with his bare hands. Thats superbadass..

  • @Greenarrow88 he is a better warrior than you ever will be

  • Arguing on the internet is like the para-olympics. Even if you win, you're still a retard.

  • @crazyrobban special olympics
