Well, at least they cast a good looking bloke for Stu. That's accurate enough: Sutcliffe was always gorgeous. As for the rest of it... well, it's alright. John was never spectacularly attractive or skinny. And I think the person playing Paul has got the whole pretty boy look downpat. Just focus on the acting.

I had a friend in high school that looked JUST LIKE a young Paul McCartney. He played guitar in my first band. A few years later, the poor guy was killed in a car accident. RIP.

They did a TON of these between like 1999 and 2000 for all sorts of musicians and legends. There were three for the Beatles--THREE! VH1 had "Two of Us,"a fictitious story about Lennon and McCartney. Then there was this one. Then there was the Linda McCartney story. I think the fictional one about Lennon/McCartney was ironically the most believable!!!

They did a TON of these between like 1999 and 2000 for all sorts of musicians and legends. There were three for the Beatles--THREE! VH1 had "Two of Us,"a fictitious story about Lennon and McCartney. Then there was this one. Then there was the Linda McCartney story. I think the fictional one about Lennon/McCartney was ironically the most believable!!!

this movie sux =( sorry but it's true. look for BACKBEAT it's best film about beatles ever. in here I could kill the scenarist for what he wrote when Stu died.. John loved astrid and would NEVER say anything like this.. like in this film.!!!
