This BK band is actually a power trio with Bobby singing and playing guitar, Everett Boyd on Bass, and Marc Copell on Drums. The horns are a who's who of sidemen and leaders on this date: Tim Ouimette on trumpet (Ray Charles), Mark Johnson on Tenor (Special EFX), and Bob Funk of The Uptown Horns on trombone.
The Bobby Kyle Band, performing a Johnny "Clyde" Copeland song, "Cut Off My Right Arm". Bobby Kyle played in Copeland's band for several years, recording 3 records with him on Verve/Polygram, as well as several others releases on other labels.
