I used to live on East New York Ave between Brooklyn Ave. I miss this place so much. Hopeful my old friends remember me. I am the only DEAF in this town. My name is John Falcone.
Very beautiful poignant - I was born in Brooklyn in 1968- What parts of Brooklyn was that shot in? We lived in East New York back in the day and some of that looked familiar
A thought provoking video. Things haven't changed because the young are still caring for the old. The strong are still helping the weak. The hospitals of today are staffed with youthful nurses and doctors and young, energetic, people. And they too will become old one day and the cycle will continue. That's life. I like your videos.
Today, Sept 19, my son who died April 11, 2008 would have been 27. It's a sad day. I miss him, always will. God bless lonely parents who have lost a kid.
Very powerful film. Got a little teary eye watching it. Reminds me of my elderly mother who passed away just a few years ago. Thank you for posting.

libere: Mostly in Brooklyn Heights and Park Slope. And not much has changed I am sure.

goldkhw: Thank you for your comment. I agree. When I walk the streets of New York where I filmed this so many years ago, things look oddly the same.
