@ilikedovehunting The bird is much too big for that kind of garden spider, even if this guy wouldn't have saved it, the spider would've cut it loose from it's web. There is no way a spider the size of a quarter could eat a humming bird.

@ilikedovehunting Yeah, a giant spider like that might stand a chance against it, but this looks like the web of a normal garden orb weaver, which are very small with very mild venom, not strong enough to decompose the tissue of a mammal or bird.
