  • One thing I don't get is why noone gave him a chance? His hands are unbelievable with good crisp routes and a true leader if you can catch like this kid it doesn't matter what level you play on yours hands will always be the same and so will route running? Just cause its the nfl doesn't mean you lose your hands and can't run a route.. Who cares if he played a low level of competition? Look at jerry rice, randy moss, roddy white, marquis colston, and Brandon Marshall these guys played in low level

  • @theriotjokeTV i dont mean to sound fucked up but all he did was touch your bros but...

  • @theriotjokeTV wut high school

  • @supersaiyan3bardock1 Homewood-Flossmoor (H-F)

  • Welcome to the Chicago Rush

  • Barnes is what college football really is all about...true heart, and amateur completion. What a very special person he is.

  • @tlguigou why the bears refused to test this guy in a game when he has the most talent out of any of the bears receivers i will never know. like i said for the last few years. lovie smith is terrible at getting wide receivers. when he has a gold mine like barnes he never gives him a chance. wow

  • He does have one weakness. Kyle Wilson.

  • he wasn't drafted because he was deemed "slow" by scouts and played against "a low level of competition" but either way he still gets it done even againt big ten and acc schools his sophomore year

  • @17royce30 freddie got shitted on by the nfl for no reason the only thing i could say is his conference was weak but regardless what school he went to i think he would of been just as good if not better, the kid has heart i would of drafted him he is an awesome reciever look at other undrafted players who blew up, he'll get his shine on in chicago, they also said jerry rice was slow coming out of college.

  • @9thdoom i agree how can can you lead the whole nation is catches and not get drafted its crazy how the nfl works now a days

  • from QB to receiver fuckin awesome freddy

  • dis nigga is toooooo cold

  • Jett21 conference play means nothing. keep thsi in mind, the greatest receiver of all time (Jerry Rice) played at a historically black college. so really your college comp means nothing, if u produce u produce and if your good when your time comes youll put in the work to be the best you can then ur guna do it. when its all said and done nobodys guna care what conf he played for in collge but about all them play he made on your o so great SEC corner

  • Undrafted All-American WTF?

  • He has the heart and skills of a champion--LET HIM PLAY!!!!

  • Nothing translates to NFL success better than tearing up the MAC.

  • awesome catch at around 1:18

  • Cool version of Ecstasy of Gold

  • lol video game stats aside Lmao!!

    Great player by the way.

  • speeds the only concern, if he tries very hard, he should make the roster as a special teamer considering that we are set with Hester, Aromashodu, Bennet and Knox, but if he makes the final roster then he can work towards becoming a wr, great hands and route running, again speeds the only concern

  • Great video. Very well done. I'm glad he's a Chicago Bear. :)

  • 1:40 get the hell off me haha

  • Im pretty happy about picking him up. Yet another great move by DA BEARS this offseason. I like how things are shaping up, where going to be a contender for years to come.

  • that was for sure a sick video with perfect music!! as a bears fan I have no clue who this man was...now I know, and I cannot wait to see more!

  • granted in a small division but that kid has some talent! i'm surprised no one took a gamble and drafted this kid! well bears toss Davis out because im pretty sure he'll be taking his spot on the roster!

  • he reminds me of a more athletic and stronger version of earl bennet..one of the best pick ups from the bears was a undrafted free agent rookie lol. DA BEARS

  • Bears did a good job this years draft!

  • im really excited about this player,he gives the bears one more peice to the puzzle,i cant wait to see what kind of an impact julius peppers, lance briggs, major wright, charles tillman, and returning brian urlacher, will have in the upcoming season,

but with mike martz running the offense, with the addition of chester taylor, and the style of offense martz brings, chicago will have the talent and potential to be a contender in the nfc

  • wtf and he went undrafted?

  • great pick up by the bears. i hope he gets a chance to play!

  • HOW THE HELL WAS HE NOT DRAFTED!!!!!!!!!!!! who cares! he is now part of da bears and will be competing against knox & arom...... (not typing it) for a starting job

  • @autophenom ur wrong knox and aromashodu have a guranteed staring job he will compete with iglesias and davis for a starting job

  • @gangstab13 Knox and Aromashodu will probably be our starters this year with Earl Bennett in the slot. Barnes will compete with Davis for the last spot on the team

  • @tgmxd thats what i said.

  • @gangstab13 after thinking about it, ur right, but still great signing and will compete for a spot on the team.

  • how was he undrafted

  • welcome to DA BEARS

  • DA BEARSSS!

  • welcome to the bears freddie!!!

  • Anquan Boldin ran 4.8 I think. Freddie even moves like him. Great hands.

  • jerry rice? rice ran a 4.7 just need the hands and the passion

  • wow, good hands n concentration, good intangibles, wtf 22 catches 278 yards and 3 thouchdowns.

welcome 2 the bears Freddie!!!!!! I hope u line up in the beginning of the season.

  • hopefully hell bring this to da bears

  • whats the music, please!??!?!?!

  • @AVW2318 It's a remix of ecstasy of gold by ennio morricone, it's from the Good, the Bad and the Ugly.

  • EPIC. Barnes has the potential to be the best MAC player ever. Just look at all his stats plus a strong heart/will/drive/desire to win. He is a hard worker and will be succesful for the bears or anyone else for that matter.

  • Freddie Barnes can be good in the NFL if he gets coached and developed over a 3-4 year period of time. The main question is if he can achieve consistent growth and production once he gets to the next level. If he can, then his potential is enormous.

  • i bet the pats take him

  • DA BEARS SIGN FREDDIE!!!

  • undrafted

  • i say welcome to the raider nation...cable is in love with these guys that played well in the east west game

  • He'll go to the Patriots.

  • he's going to the bears..........

  • whats the name of this music?

  • I agree with y'all...this guy will be the steal of the draft!!!

  • He has some talent! He's not a burner, but I like the way he snatches the ball. But more impressive is the way he run after the catch. He runs with power like a back should! He has potential

  • next Chicago Bear!

  • hes not the fastest guy in the world but this guy has one of the best set of hands in the draft

  • if yu got somethin smart ta say about my blood brother freddie lee barnes den say dat shit ta me nd my choppas face bitch ass niggahs stop hatin on GOD ill bang 1 of yall hoe ass niggahs

  • hell ya broncos for sure...he's got alil rod smith, reggie wayne to him

  • ya bronocos for sure...he's got alil rod smith, reggie wayne to him

  • ya bronocos for sure...he's got alil rod smith, reggie wayne to him

  • i agree, he would look good in a broncos uniform

  • I hope the Broncos get him,,, he could be the next Rod Smith,,,

  • whatever team drafts this guy will get a steal!!

  • Somehow he wasn't invited to the Combine. I think he will be the steal of the draft

  • hes just a plain old beast

  • Im on the chain crew for BG and if know one takes this guy in the draft, after watching him for four years, that would just be a terrible waste of talent and such a shame.. who ever picks him up is getting a down right steal if they do it after the second or third round.

  • @davidepugh He will be lucky to be selected in 5th, don't get me wrong he will be a steal like you said but most of the smaller school prospects that don't even work out in the combine drop down on draft boards.

  • He reminds me of Steve Smith of the Giants, just super quick.

  • Need an updated video for him with his complete senior stats

  • song?

  • I want this guy on the jets

  • I'd love to see an updated highlight reel with all the late season games! (H-Bowl and Shrine Game included)

  • songs ecstasy of gold by ennio morricone

  • i met him when he came to orlando and hes a great guy. I wish him luck in the shrinebowl and in the next level if he makes it.

  • Possibly the best senior season by any player in the history of college football. Started off as the clutchest player I've ever seen at BG. Not only catching game winners at Minnesota & Buffalo, but also countless times getting a key play on 3rd & especially 4th down. Never thought he would be the best WR in the nation, but adapted to the position unbelievably well. Freddie's 22 catches & 3td's against Kent werent the best stat, it's that he did all that so we could WIN the game 36-35.

  • Can't believe I played with this kid in H.S...... Good job Freddie

  • He looks like a future slot receiver in the pro's. He doesn't have the size or strength to get off the jams at the next level as a wideout. To me he's a smaller TJ Houshmandzadeh

  • you can see how crisp his route running is...that's what separates the stars from the everyday WR

  • yea son i fel u thas exactly rite u have a ood point its the system an its bullshit

  • i dont get how hes not a 2nd or 3rd round pick

  • they say cuz of his 40 time. but thats horseshit.

  • yea they all have good point because wes welker didn't even get invited to the combine...I am a high school athlete myself with 4.3 speed and I know my opinion doesn't matter but I honestly think combine stuff is overrated. It's all about what you do on that field. An the big thing is if he was at Florida or Michigan or a big name school who produces wr's and he was doing this then he would no question be a 1st round pick...its ridiculous politics makes me HATE sports its BULLSHIT!!!

  • haha...of course it dohnt matter man..dont be scared to say it...reality is it doesnt MATTER at all...its the system though..so u have to look good..kind of like wen u have to look good in an interview for a job..u dnt have to put on a suit for ur interview to prove that ur good at the job..but u have to because its "THE SYSTEM"..do wat u gotta do..i myself run a legit 4'4 40..i train with the one of the best if not best speed/strength trainer her in utah

  • freddie reminds me of anquan boldin. big, physical, and can make plays. boldin ran a 4.8 at the combine and look how he turned out

  • Whats the song?

  • dudes a freak

too bad he had to start out by playing qb and getting injured or else he would've been way faster

he had no time in his career to concentrate on polishing his speed and route running

definatly a first day draft pick

    but not first round

  • Speed isnt the end all be all, just ask Al Davis (hows Heyward Bey working out?) I can think of quite a few wideouts that lack ideal 40 times that had hall of fame careers... Take Jerry Rice, Hines Ward and Wes Welker (Welker ran a 4.65 at the combine) There some things that you can't teach, and making plays is one of those things

  • ward and welker only excelled cuz they have the best vision out of any nfl reciever

considering the fact that they both played runningback in college and hs and they're shorter then smurfs

thats why they're the best blocking wr's in the league and have some amazing yac yrds

  • give this guy some speed and agility...

and he'd be #1 draft pick

  • Scouts apparently criticize him because of his lack of speed compared to other receivers. They said the same thing about Jerry Rice coming out of college. Just sayin' : )

He is an incredible player and seems to be an incredible individual off the field as well.

  • Thats what i was thinking, You know how much fast players didn't make it it in the NFL. M.Colston is slow just the same, and hes a good receiver, ever though hes taller. This guy might turn out to be one of those late round picks that turn out to be a big star in the NFL, won't be the first time , it happens.

  • That's putting the team on your back right there.

  • I really hope he goes at least 3rd round next year.

  • Go BGSU!
