I don't understand why you guys are arguing. It's a fact that warlocks were the best dps during TBC. Besides that seeds were the best AoE in the game, mages had better AoE damage but it wasn't efficient.
Rogues were also high dps. I guess those legendaries helped a lot.
Resto shamans were the best healers (chainheal+bloodlust). I pulled iirc around 3200-3500 hps during Mu'ru fights which was pretty high.
@NLandolph I thought that was harsh of me so removed the comment and pluss I use to have a UI which was so messy and ugly. I think people who like addons always go through a phase like that.

@t3hbone well i´m a warlock and 4k dps there was nothing then, now with the nw patch before cata warlocks are OP since we do 18-19k dps. I did 16.5k dps on LK hc 10 yesterday. its about the skills man the skills... ppl that do low dps at lvl 80 can reroll class since they are a shame to all the warlocks out there
@Blixten90 1st they were on about a level 70 hunter hitting 4k dps, which was very high, and when they said that was better then some level 80s they ment level 80s in naxx, and blue gear, 4k dps then was fairly good
If you said this because locks are here toping the dmg , I can assure you that it was due to pure spam of Seed of Corruption at the Void spawns during phase 1. Locks were not the best dps during TBC, but as you said hunters were, though not toping always during fights where a lot of movement was required. At least they delivered same or even greater dps than warriors or rogues with less than half buffs. Also don't forget windfury.

Warlocks had top dps through out TBC. Nobody was even close to competing with them. 1 button spamming is all it took, Shadow Bolt spam is 100% correct... most didn't even bother doting because it took time out of their busy lives of smashing the #1 key.
Thankfully they got nerfed to hell at the start of WotLK which was well deserved. Warlocks have moved up to Incinerate spam with CB on cd and immolate.
Hell a kid with downs can play a Destro Lock and people wouldn't even notice.

Which they were, I stand by what I said. Only on rare occasions in boss fights that favored Rogues did they ever challenge Warlocks. Thus why Warlocks weren't "always #1" Only 95% of the time.

Yea, there are. But i doubt somehow that private server would have scripted SwP before it was cleared. Private servers fail at scripting, the best TBC private server out there i know of isnt fully scripted yet.
Pretty much every day i reckon during progress raids. Long hours aswell. But it's just the first month or so untill u learn the encounters and such, during PTR raiding and a possible blizz private to beta test theres extra raids there aslong as the normal ones with the current progress.

muru doesnt have an enrage timer, and muru more or less transforms into entropius, who also doesnt have an enrage timer, but his aoe steadily increases,
muru's "aoe"/chain darkness bolt atack does steadily increase over time, but he DOES indeed also have an enrage timer where his dmg will go nuts wiping the raid in seconds.

I remember before 3.0 was out, this fight was such a bitch. I have spent over 1k gold in repairs overall from this damned boss. Though, after M'uru was downed, KJ was just a joke. By far the hardest encounter I have done in all of WoW.
Im not suprised they wiped, Mu'ru cant be done in 1 encounter, will take u 2-3 fights since the start of phase 2 is 100% hp again (Though phase 2 dies faster..... and so does the raid)

I remember before 3.0 was out, this fight was such a bitch. I have spent over 1k gold in repairs overall from this damned boss. Though, after M'uru was downed, KJ was just a joke. By far the hardest encounter I have done in all of WoW.

Im not suprised they wiped, Mu'ru cant be done in 1 encounter, will take u 2-3 fights since the start of phase 2 is 100% hp again (Though phase 2 dies faster..... and so does the raid)

M'uru is a 2-phase fight, M'uru and Entropius. It has to be done in one encounter.
Recklessness is for early Entropius, not M'uru!~
