@trainlover658 Yep, proper loco's that were repaired with tools and not plugging a laptop into it, loco's which make their mark on the environment by making noise and smoke oh I shudder to think what the future holds...

@StanwaxLaser Cheers mate. Yeah at first I thought the guy was being funny but a 170 went through shortly after and it was the exact same announcement with equally bad timing so I do think it is automated, but weird that all of these Northern Rail stations have different announcements...

It sounds as if all their engines were running, were they? At least they woke the station announcer up!

@johno4521 Sadly 55022 is the only Deltic registered to run on the mainline so there was only one loco running, though running both engines :)

Though the appeal to return D9016 to the mainline has just officially begun :D
