I think E.Z. O'Malley said that he and Brenda Blue were all out of Jay Jay's regular brown paint. They decided to paint Jay Jay a brand new blue color. And that's it.
the strangest thing is on the episode concert day from the CGI series they didn't actually show how jay jay really got his blue color they just said that when jay jay was a little plane he chose blue the only thing they should have used was a flashback from the model series i think it would be smarter to use
Man, I loved the classic episodes of Jay Jay. I don't like the new series as much compared to this one, but geeze. I still have the tapes of these episodes.
