  • Another great survival video (amateur, but it's the best thing out there at the moment)

I give the guy credit for taking on a task that he's kinda clueless about.

Funny how there are so many HD video camera today that are super small, and yet natgeo gave him some huge gears .

    (Sony handycam, gopro )

  • Is it just me or wasn't there a longer video of this on YouTube? Like 14 min + each episode

  • gophers and rabbits? WHAT ABOUT SNAKES?

  • Nothing but a grown man crying in the woods, eating nasty porcupine, and getting his ass hand to him by mother nature. A girl-scout would have lasted longer than him.

  • @tstockt - I have seen it. And yes, it is funny. But he is better prepped and more knowledgable than our English friend here. However, I did watch ALL the videos and I give him huge credit for lasting as long as he did. Just wish he'd stop crying all the time! sheesh! I spend a lot of time in remore areas of British Columbia and the Cascades in Washington, as well as a few extended trips without guides or emergency devices on rivers in Alaska and I never shed a single tear except for ones of joy

  • One of these days Les, Bear, and...Ed. Are gonna run into each other in like the Sahara or something

  • he arrived from that canoe -_-

  • BAD COPYCAT

  • nice, he can atleast have some guns for food and defence. Looked like a shotgun and a 22LR maybe, that'd cover all your bases pretty good. 300-400 rounds of 22LR doesn't way anything but can get most any tasty snacks

  • how do you carry 400 rounds ...

  • 2 words: Les Stroud

  • @adamstielstra 2 words: you're gay

  • @adamstielstra have you seen "Snowshoes and Solitude"? it kind of changed my mind about ole Les. Made me laugh pretty hard too, mostly at his cheesy song writing.

  • im no survival expert but if i were him i would set up camp a lil further from the lake. that way he could still fish but not be around for all the animals that are attracted to the lake.

  • good idea

  • guys check out thenewboston's channel, he did a surviving the wilderness series exept his friend the one doing it had no experiece and had limited supplies. Check it out.

  • this guy has to be experienced with a camera, they wouldnt just turn joe shmo loose in the woods with a 1000 dollar hand held with hopes of getting good footage.

  • I'm surprised they showed the guns. Noramlly it evokes foolish ness. O_O They showed a gun! zomg How offensive!

  • I prefer "Man Against Wild". Man, Knife, and flint. That's all.

  • yup but that show seems fake lol

  • I wonder why they never have an American do this kind of stuff. Are we that behind in survival experts willing to film their exploits for basic cable?

  • Its an advertising ploy! Its suppose to be more interesting if its done with an English accent, or Scottish in this vid...

  • Yes. Yes we are.

  • this is real stuff, unlike other fake ones you see in the discover channel!

  • i love REAL survivor shows.....this looks like a solid show

screw man vs wild with his own camera crew

  • He is like Les stroud a real survivor show if he dies he dies. So be it.

  • yea, bear grylls is weak, he has people around him carrying his flint n steel. talking about 'hold this a moment mate, so i can eat this bug for vit-amins.' survivorman is so much better cause he goes alone with his own cameras and all.

  • weak or not, you jump in freezing water without it hurting. I dont care how fake or set up he is. Jumping into frozen water, and drinking water from elephant shit is something to be given credit to. Set up or not.

  • no doubt, but ive seen other guys eat shit and drink piss without a camera crew is all im saying.

  • lmfao, this guys seems crazy. I like all the survival SHOWS they are the best :D

  • man vs wild is stupid survivor man is alot better cuase he has no camera crew while man vs wild has a camera crew so man vs wild is lame survivor man awsome and plus hes all alone

  • horrible reasons Les Stroud (survivor man) does go out there with no camera crew but he just sits out there for a week, Bear Grylls (Man vs. Wild) does have a camera crew but he puts himself in situations that the person that's lost could use to his/her advantage and most likely live, plus Bear Grylls has a kick ass accent ;)

  • V-it-amins,mk,lots of V-it-amins!

  • hahaha nice

  • hahahah is this just a tupid copy of manvs wild so stupid

  • wtf, this is a rip off of "surviving the wilderness"

  • I enjoy this type of in the wild show over the "Man Vs. Wild" format. In this case he's the only one, filming and survivng, in the other format there's a crew following him.

  • yes but man vs wild is showing you how to survive and this is showing you him surviving in the wild i enjoy both

  • oi suzy!

  • Man I love his accent...

  • snakes holes

  • Wanna be Bear to be honest. :P

  • its just the rambo version of bear grylls LOL cause he uses guns

  • 500th post yay!

  • Irish. :P

  • Nice...
