  • like if u skipped to the end

  • arrow to knee

  • takes me 8 minutes to do this :/ how can he? :S

  • Can't wait to get mine. I can do the 4x4x4 in 5 minutes, 3x3x3 in one, and the megaminx in 10

  • Feliks Zemdegs now broke his new world record on 5x5 rubik's cube at World Rubik's cube championship 2011 held at bangkok. You can watch now ive at solverubikscube.co m

  • did he get parity error ?

  • not a single fck was given that day

  • That's how long it takes me to solve a 3x3x3 Rubik's cube. Damn.

  • only way I solve a 3x3x3: removing the stickers and placing them where they belong. 5 mins tops.

  • I can solve it in like 3 and a half minutes. But I didn't find my own way, I just memorized the algorithms.

  • Frank morris? isnt this the dude that escaped alcatraz?

  • @RMJ1984 there is another frank morris who escaped alcatraz.

  • i wish my 5x5 moved that smoothly

  • PRO

  • I got my 5x5x5 back in 08.... im still trying to solve it

  • I can solve the 5X5 in four and a half days flat. I'm trying to get sub two days, but I'm having trouble with it.

  • hoy me compre el 5x5x5 y en menos de 10 minutos lo consegui resolver

si sabes hacer el 4x4 no tiene tanta dificultad :b

  • it's really not that hard, it's all about patience.

  • @ilke10 Depends how fast you can do it. I once solved a 20x20x20. It took be just less than 8 hours. Now that's patience.

  • i live in ireland and i had to get my 5x5 cube imported from tiawan to england which then had to come to a small town in the middle of nowhere and i broke it trying to lubricate it on the first day :(

  • @samjddowlinggmail

    Wtf? xD

  • @samjddowlinggmail ahahhhah sry man but that's too awesome!

  • Amazing job.

  • it took me 1 hour to solve . 2 min getting it ouy of the package, 7 min trying myself, 13 min finding a good tutorial. 8 min trying to solve it through a video. 10 min more searching for tutorials. 10 min trying it. 15 sec throwing it down the stairs. 5 min and 45 sec putting it back together and 4 min showing off

  • Wow... the first 5x5 video I ever saw. Nostalgia...

  • There are about as many possible permutations in a 5x5x5 cube as there are atoms in the observable universe. Wut?

  • i dont see how his cube is so smooth. mine always gets stuck

  • @bcollier94 it's the way you use it.

  • @bcollier94 yes, so true

  • dude i just got it took it out of the box scrabled it , it took me like a hour

  • He just completed it because his last name rimes with norris (chuck norris) so he has a little norris power in him ;)

  • u know haw solve the megaminx????? that looks dificul

  • my best is about 4 minutes average is about 5 minutes damn

  • My best is like 8 minutes <.<

  • i got one of these and after a week all the stickers where falling off.. really annoying i paid like $40 for it

  • @nevikffud buy a V-cube 5x5x5 not the Rubik's!!!

  • wanna know my fastest 5x5 time, umm like 90 mins!

  • ,,,,I CAN'T EVEN DO THE 2x2 XD

  • I can solve it in 5 minutes and i am only 12

    no joke

  • Me to... I've got it for my 12th birthday

  • @whammybar67 shut up faggotass puss

  • man, that one doesn't cut corners worth crap

  • i love the guys in the background... kinda funny actaully

  • this is just insane...

  • Id like to see this huy solve a v-cube 5 as it's desighn is flawless and would boost this AMAZING speed :)

  • takes me around a minute to solve a regular cube, but this is just something else.

  • It took me about 40 minutes to solve this

  • @aaronpersaud me too! sometimes i have a problem with the edges: can somebody tell me how to change 2 of the egde parts? i always have all edges completed, except 2 because one each is in the other edge :S

if i knew that i could immediately solve it just like the regular 3x3x3 rubiks cube.

I hope somebody can help me! thx

  • @aaronpersaud solve the 3x3x3 rubik's cube insinde the 5x5x5 : 1 minute MAX, pair the edges : 10 minutes MAX, solve the 3x3x3 bigger version in the 5x5x5 again : 3 minutes MAX.

    rubiks cube 5x5x5 : 14 minutes MAX!

  • Naruto sucks

  • @donovan3955 the fuckkkkkk

  • Man this solve isn't even in the top 100 anymore.....man cubing got popular quick.

  • I need 15 minutes.... :-(

  • It's geeks who end up bein ur freakin bosses, ass.

  • Retard.

  • ahaha thts hardly any longer than it takes me to solve a 3X3X3 ahahaha!!!!

  • FUK YOU RoPs007!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • he is totally incredible

  • midget

  • Are Rubik's brand cubes bad? What are the best cubes from best to worse for quality if you don't mind, anyone?

  • It depends on your preference, really. I had a Rubik's brand before and I didn't like it because the pieces kept on falling apart and it was also quite large. I got an Eastsheen to replace it and I think it's better for me since it's much smaller and the construction seems more sturdy. I never tried the V-Cube, but I hear it's also quite good.

  • for 5x5x5: V-cube>Eastsheen>Mefferts>death>Rubik's

    4x4x4: Mini OJ>OJ>mefferts>eastsheen>Rubik's

    3x3x3>edison? type c?

  • i meant QJ not oj

  • thats scary man...

  • facimmm

  • Nice time for rubik's 5x5, this video is old though, before v-cubes came out

  • You suck

  • you're good... but not as good as Dan Cohen...his record is 1:05

  • Frank Morris is one of the best. This was 4 years ago, with a rubik´s brand.

  • Haha u didn't get the joke TheMachanga... someone else somewhere in the comments was like "you're good... but not as good as me... my record is 1:xx.xx

  • oh.

  • This video was taken in 2005

  • I know it was. I was just imitating someone who made a very stupid comment. I know that this time was amazing at that time and was especially remarkable as it was done with a Rubiks 5x5.

  • wow

  • i solved 3x3x3 on 1:36 thats my best :D

  • lmfao!!! 5 years 10 years for me m8

  • godamnit i assure you dude if u left me with a 5x5x5 cube and came back 5 fucking years later, not 1 layer would be solved

  • um... well the problem is that you don't solve the 5x5x5 cube in layers... do the centers first! but i did do it by layers... once. :)

  • you obviously don't get what im FRIGGIN TRYIN 2 SAY HERE!!!

  • i GET WHAT YOU'RE FRIGGIN TRYIN 2 SAY HERE! can't you just appreciate a little humor? XD

  • new record on 3x3x3 38.75 secs

  • he is a god. "yeah baby!" lol

  • holly fuck

  • Holy crap!!!

  • hijo de puta ese wey esta cabron no mamen

  • damn

  • Nice. I'm between you two; I average about 30 seconds. But I can solve any cube I want. I'm still working on the 20x20x20, but it takes forever. the 7x7x7 isn't too bad though. I just bought a v-cube ( I love it) and I'm down to about 20 minutes

  • whats with the wind?

  • i can solve the 2x2x2 3x3x3 4x4x4 and 5x5x5 aswell :)

ps: my fastest time ever on the 3x3x3= 0.57 min. (using the beginners method)

  • try solving a V-Cube then get back to me ;)

    7x7x7

  • i would ... but i can't get one. i live in belgium and i don't have pay pall because i don't have a credit card.

  • my fastest time on 3x3x3= 0.56 min. (also using beginners method)

    I want a 4x4x4 and I also can't pay online :(.

(by the way: I live in Holland :o)

  • i live in america... and i bought my v-cube through greece...

  • but you have a credit card don't you?

  • There's no change in the difficulty. It's the time it takes. There is a really reliable way to solve anything above a 4x4.

  • have you ever got a headache from solving a 7x7x7??

  • i can solve a 3x3 in 20 seconds

  • change the title it makes it look like hours

    P.s I can solve a 3x3x3 in 59 secs :P

  • I talk to Frank all of the time. We are setting up a springtime official competition for cubing in springtime '09. Contact me if interested. Nothing is set in concrete yet.

  • ive honestly beaten the 5x5x5 in 1:49 using the center edge technique

  • wow... its smooth i can feel it

  • what....the.....fuck

  • at least i can do a 3x3x3 faster

  • I can't solve a 3x3x3 faster than that, I'm just proud that I can. I can also solve a 4x4x4 and 5x5x5 but it takes me double time.

  • which method is he using lbl or centers egdes ...

    ?

  • looks like centers edges...but i could be wrong

  • Yes, it's a 3x3x3 reduction method with centers first.

  • Wow, this only took him 1:50 secs!

It would take me like 30 mins to solve a 3x3x3 rubik's cube! XDD

  • Try BigCubes.

  • i used to be able to solve this, only timed myself once and it was 10min, i forget the seconds

  • By the way, odd-number cubes would be easier to solve than even, wouldn't they, because the middle pieces are fixed? Or does that matter?

  • It actually doesn't really matter once you memorize the relative position of the colors. Though for those not-so-skilled, a fixed-center cube would probably be easier to solve.

  • It takes me about 999:99:99:99 to solve a regular cube :p

  • so...Which is best? Solving the centers and edges and then you finish it up like a 3x3x3 or LBL...? I solve the centers and edges and finish up with Fridrich but I can't get it done in under 15 minutes... Of course, I recently bought it and I haven't looed it yet...but anyways... He's good I won't take that from him..., I'll join the comps in 2 years if not less, my classic cube record is 21 seconds, I still have to learn all ZBF2L algs...are they any useful?

  • After I learned the 3x3x3 and 4x4x4 cubes, I didn't learn any extra algorithms for the 5x5x5. At first, like you, I could only solve it in about 15-20 minutes. After some time I can now solve it in under 5 minutes.

So I guess learning extra algorithms *might* be useful, but I think simply practicing is the main key.

  • I am gay

  • lmao.

  • ok this guy is PRO.

  • clancy told me almost 2 years ago that this was his rubik's(hes a good friend of Frank's). im 100% positive he didnt have a v-cube back then

  • ya its alot harder than a 3x3 u dont know what ur talking about the algs are way different. if u can solve a 4x4 then its a little easier but just knowing how to solve a 3x3 will in no way prepare you for a 5x5

  • If you know how to solve a 3x3x3 and a 4x4x4, then you can solve a 5x5x5. The parity algs for the 4x4x4 even work for the 5x5x5!

  • If you can solve a 4x4x4, then you can obviously solve a 5x5x5, and most of the paritys on a 5x5x5 are intuitive, imo anyways...

  • You are a noob, you 5x5x5 is so hell much harder than 3x3x3

  • you are a noob, its basically the same way, other than edge parities and you have to fix the centers, so once you get it to that point it is a 3x3x3

  • check date of vid. Frank didnt have a vcube at this point in time

  • stop at 1:37. u c tyson mao on the left

  • You are good, in fact very good. With my help you could be the best. Wait, you already are, nvm.

  • naruto is gay

  • NOT petroleum jelly, use a silicon based lubricant

  • Never never never use petroleum jelly.

  • why not?

  • its his rubiks, this was before he tested the vcubes.

  • nahh, east esheen 5*5s are way to small... your finger is twice the size of the cubes, so you cant do it with your fingers, only wrist rotation

  • is that a Rubik's brand?..so smooth..i thought Rubik's brand locks up quite often..

  • wow....thats crzy...thats my 4x4 time

  • thats not even his V-Cube is it?

  • is that tyson mao on 1:36?

  • I'm too stupid to master the centers & sides method, or maybe I can't find an adequate tutorial. :D I'm actually fine with my cage method anyway.

  • that's amazing, i just learned the professor's cube yesterday, but it took me about 50 times longer, haha

  • i wasn't saying that to frank i was replying im gonna sue youtube becuase this is the 5 billionth time this has happened

  • piskopata bağlamış aç herif :)

  • i met him today at the denver open and judged for him when he got the 53 sec. on the 4x4 thats right suck it bitches

  • It matters. A good cube is turned much more easily.

  • doesnt say rubik's convention on here...i dont think they really care what cube u use my friend....Caltech Dallas Summer 2005

  • anyone have a site how to solve 5x5x5 rubik's cube tell me please if you have send me ei

  • post a video that proves it!!!!!!!!!!!

  • hmm let me c well the pros use rubiks so that means that it is rubiks

  • i wuld say the pros use eastsheen....in my opinion but w/e

  • it is called a rubik's convention for a reason so it is a rubiks brand

  • Eastsheen locks up quite a lot. I'd say Rubik's may be your best bet right now if you want to do speedcubing.

  • Quite the opposite for me. Rubik's locks up on me far more frequently.

  • looks like rubiks

  • wow!!!!!

  • 5x5x5=125 not 150

  • O_O

  • im still learning my 1x1x1

    its so hard!

  • haha its really hard

  • That guy is so talented!! His hands were floating all around the cube! You, my friend, are brilliant!! I'm learning the 4X4X4

  • do u guyz know how hard this is!?!

    i can only do 3x3 and 4x4...

  • 4x4x4 is technically more intuitive, just takes less time because there's less edge-pairing... you could quite easily do the 5x5x5.

  • 33/33/33=99+00=2008+code2008 xxxxxxxxxxx
