Mod is good, but bad sides are for instance the training map (don't remember the name) it is supposed to be used for training, but instead everyone snipes or kills me, in short spawnkilling. I thought to try real servers, soo I did. Since I was a total noob and had no expirience whatsoever cause of the spawnkillers in the treainning map, I mostly walked around the map being haunted by snipers, or be teamkilled now and then, still had the nerves until some dickhead said to me "noob" over voip

@mettalx1 Training mode was flawed and the servers that ran it were poorly administrated. In the latest version it's been replaced by a COOP mode, which at least doesn't have the spawn rape issues that training mode did.

It can be difficult getting into PR, especially when you have jerks calling you a noob. But you can just ignore them and find better people to play with who'll help you learn.

Making every shot lethal would actually be less realistic.

As for shrugging it off, that's incorrect as you are hampered by any wound in PR.

Besides the focus on realism is only one aspect of the mod and it does not take priority over game play.

As for returning fire after being shot, it all depends on how badly wounded you are. Soldiers wear body armor too if you didn't know.

@MrEverybody6264 AIX is 'fun' if you like vanilla BF2 style gameplay and playing mainly against bots. Different people find different things 'fun'. I think you also underestimate the amount of content in PR, as it has numerous unique factions with dozens of weapons+variations and vehicles each.

BF2 can display more than 100FPS if you have some gray matter between those wax clogged ears of yours. Simply type:

game.lockFps 1000 and your rate will be uncapped.

But from what ive understood the easiest way is to record with mic and speakers on so ur speech also gets recorded. Buts its soo annoying when someone plays with speakers on and u get a feeling of where the sound comes from when uve got headset.

umm it depends what server or what squad you have. If you are talking to them with the squad chat you will have to be typing A BUNCH!!! if you don't chat a bunch then they might not want you in there. It is really a matter of who your squad leader is. I recommend you not being a squad leader, since you have no mic.

idk players dont believe in a system of cover fire and maneuver, or staying in formation covering sectors, or sticking close to cover or even each other. there is teamwork, but the only real teamwork is that once in a while they both fire at the same target, and revive or give each other ammo, but they prefer covering themselves than their partners flank.
