Beh, la bellezza della sua voce è fuori discussione, ce ne fossero di voci timbricamente così belli... Ma ti sembra una bella esecuzione? Diversi acuti sono calanti, alcune note scritte da Bellini sono cambiate e la cedenza finale è pura invenzione... Che poi la Katia nazionale sia una diva di altri tempi nessuno discute, del resto deve avere un grandissimo carisma, visto che, al di la della bellissima voce, è stata una cantante molto mediocre, per niente professionale!

Very simple.. She carries too much vocal weight .. up above the staff.. and as a result it puts strain on her top notes.. I love katia's voice.. but she burned herself out with that technique.

Una bella aria, cantata bene, forse il portamento è un tantino eccessivo. Nel complesso l'espressività è lodevole. Peccato che le qualità vocali di Katia Ricciarelli siano andate peggiorando presto, è stata un'ottima artista e ha dato prova di un ampio ventaglio interpretativo, spaziando dalla coloratura alle parti più propriamente drammatiche. Il suo campo comunque rimane Verdi del Trovatore e ciò che ci sta attorno. Ascoltare per credere. Brava anche qui!

For me the voice sounds pretty good. She doesn't linger long on the high note, but other than that it's not bad. It's a little quiet in the beginning, but more than anything, it's just kind of all over the place as far as tempo and stuff. Her phrasing is a little off.

Seppure abbondantemente alla frutta, la Katia riesce ancora a commuovere in una pagina simile:questa era davvero la "sua" opera, per il timbro, l'accento dolente, la figura in scena.E Campanella sotto la sostiene a meraviglia. Provate a confrontarla con la Te Kanawa,tanto per dirne una, che tecnicamente sarà pure meglio,ma sembra stia dicendo alla cameriera di rifare il letto.

Ottima interpretazione, sufficiente tenuta vocale... Questi Capuleti e Montecchi dei primi anni '90 fecero epoca, lei stessa da un lato denigrò le critiche ricevute ma ammise di non avere più le corde adatte per opere come questa ("mi capita di farla ancora, ma con molte difficoltà").

Ricciarelli's beauty, on the stage, shined from her face, like a divine light. Her voice was beautiful during all her career, but something is'nt for her voice: Bellini is too much difficult to have only a good voice and a good tecnic: He wants also a GREAT soul to be "decripted": very few artists have been able to SING his DIVINE MUSIC. Ricciarelli skims this difficulty, but doesn't touch, doesn't enter...and she knows this! So she is however a great singer.
