The difference is day and night,, between the music of today, I use the term "music" loosely,, and THIS MUSIC! We let this heart-warming music go, for what we have today,,,,, oi vey!!!!!
Yes! Music should never offend, but today's music seems to deliberately go against society and love itself! If you look at the youngsters, they seem in a trance and apathetic! I don't blame them at all. I blame anyone in the media that's in charge! Because they're adults & are aware of the crap that's being spoon fed to our kids! I have to chill out when it comes to this,, I get very angry & am the type to go right to the tv stations personally and complain! Take care and God bless!
Back in the 1950's / 60's we had a 9.5mm print of this film. Sadly, the projector eventually failed and it took me 40 years to find a dvd replacement.
Dave here. I wonder if that Cadillac dealer, Don Lee was the same Don Lee of Don Lee broadcasting who owned one of the first TV stations in Los Angeles?
@Myrtle791 <---Yes, Don'Lee, 20yr. Calif. Cadillac distrib., his first station, KFRC/SanFrancisco 1926, studios at his Cad.-dealership; and 1927 in KHJ/LosAngeles, then KGB/SanDiego-dealershilp. Each station had its own live Orchestra, after accidental choking-death in 1934, Don was succeeded by able Son Thomas, and a string of Calif.-stations merged with the eastern CBS, -whereby with ABC & NBC the golden-era faded, -the subversive jewZionists propaganda-machine had all Radio-TV.!!!
Yes indeed, indubitable crooner BingCrosby aright, -started-off as a drummer, with a terrific sense of rhythm, and developed a great baritone-voice and sweet whistling-technique; --and that Caddie V16 he just won here was a smart bit of showmanship by Calif. DonLee-dealer in tough competition with EarlC.Anthony's Packard-dealership. Oh but wait, he forgot to have that guy sign-over the owner's-certificate; --oh well, he drove-off with the girl (-that's another '32/Cad.-V16 in the background...

Just as if it were yesterday. Thats the kind of music that makes folks want to touch each other, instead of stand ten feet apart shaking!

Sinatra was great, but Bing's voice was the only one that surpassed his.
