  • Yeah, chill out and let the chords out?

  • I LOVE THIS SOUND!!!!

  • Pretty good but you kinda need to slow it down and inves a bit more in your rythyms. I covered this song too, on a instruments pretty similar. It's not perfect, but it might be a little helpful with the rythym, if you feel like watching.

  • Please invest in a metronome. The song does not get faster as you play it....

  • Too fast! don't rush a good thing. the mandolin has a nice ring to it. are each of the 8 strings tuned to a different note, or are there 4 doubled strings?

  • @KenDC9 just 4 doubled strings, same note, same octave.

  • 4 doubled strings

  • sounds too fast

  • Good job man! REALLY!

  • You could have sounded better if you would have played it half speed but you still captured a nice sound.

  • great job.sounds great

  • ive got the same led zepp poster lol

  • ive got the shit of that poster :D

  • same here

  • that mandolin's design look really familiar

    is it an olympia?

  • a lil slower

  • Great playing but what is your hurry?

  • Hey, That's really good. Nice work.

I play mandolin too, and so I just wanted to offer a compliment.

If I could suggest trying out a thicker pick? I use Dunlop 207 Jazztone picks. They change the sound of my playing in a big way, filling in lot's of bass and sweetening up the high notes on my mandolin. Worth buying.

It helps me to slow down and count the rhythm out while playing through the chords a few times, then picking the lead notes, and back to chords. Or use a metronome.

    Regards

    David

  • You made this classic song sound like a soundtrack for a video game. It's time to hang up your joystick buddy boy. You need to practice and play the "full" chords required of this piece and not these single note abominations.

  • Wow thats cool

  • You have to work on your time a little there, but the positions sound great!

  • S L O W E R!

  • that would be jpj on speed

  • Jimmy Page made this tune actually.
