  • This is why i respect this man!

    Hetfield is my hero!

  • Best lyrics in a song= THE UNFORGIVEN....

  • to jest power !!!!!!!!

  • Dave got fired cuz he gad an even bigger problem with alcohol and took drugs.... And you thought this guy is bad.

  • AK47+Vodka= Problem

  • Metallica will never die!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • IT does not matter how famous you are as long you trully love you girlfriend or wife you have to listen to her.Even james hetfield got kicked out of his own house. The singer of metallica

  • oh no your horrible drinking problem faggot

  • and to think that some people always say that ROCKSTARS are stupid, listen to how they talk and they talk educated :) DEAM! haha

  • xDDDdDDDD AlcoholicA xDDDD

  • No. .. what I meant is that metallica is not worth a horn ... they are good to spoil the love that the fans they had in the sound, the spirit of the scene, and they too ... but everyone knows how degrading and metallica has become clear, no one could expect more of those little heads ... fuck it I heard the kill 'em all psb 30 times a day ... and it was not the only tall ... look at them now ... I even felt ashamed when I see live ...

  • huh?

  • Metallica = Shit

  • @rubenthrash1 You mean Metallica=The Shit

  • @rubenthrash1 hahahaha say me one reason for that. for the alcoholic problem?

if u want to play that way i have some facts that will fuck u up

  • says there ... let me guess, "Metallica has been the biggest band in the world !"..." to say that they started with the thrash ..."..." changed the vision of the metal at the time their ... "This is what you'll say!?

  • @rubenthrash1 no i wont say that. metallica is still one of the biggest bands in the world. give me one reason to hate them like you do.

  • Hector stop tje bullshit! Metallica is a great and will always be a great band their bad habits has nothing to do with the new ideas of playing music, there's a teory called out "evolution" every rock band experiences that teory, and that's a good thing, that way they will know if they are doing the right thing.

  • ever since james stopped drinking metallica has never been the same

  • so they kicked mustaine out of being drunk, but they did the same afterwards.

  • WHATS THE SONG AT 1:55???

  • Wasting my hate

  • WTB Red bulls plus A GODDAMN GAME CARD

  • he whats that video with the snow

  • King Nothing

  • you should be happy that he was able to overcome this. he can kick ass without killing himself

  • dude i'd take the same decision as james did i'd rather go for my wife and family and then for the band

  • well since the band had the money to take a holiday i really don't blaime the band for having that time off tbh.

  • Yeah but some people do blaime them

  • Blaime them because they wanna catch up in there own lives rofl Thats harsh when you got a family without a dad.

  • Yeah indeed and lot's of ppl just don't understand that....

  • Everyone thinks because metallica are robots constantly gigging and making albums

  • haha pause their 0:38

  • lol, could they burn with the same fire?, cause i'm pretty sure they released their worst album after :P

  • Is this off a dvd or something?

  • tv speacial

  • BEER BEER ERRRRRRRR

  • I didn't care for how he acted toward the other guys on "Some Kind of Monster" but guess it was self preservation and I can sure respect that.

  • Wow, I knew it was bad as in AlcoholicA bad, but somehow I thought it just comes with the territory and people like them do it because they want to and not because they have to. Perhaps that was true for Lars and Kirk, but it a hold a James in a major way, and I guess we can only thank God that it was alcohol and not heroin or something. Alcohol takes longer to do you in and he managed to finally come to grips and admit he had a problem, which I can tell you now is the hardest part.

  • James was really addicted!

  • i don't think james was really addicted

he did it for fun and he was rarely seen drunk

  • 100th rator

  • 102th rator...

  • ...how would that be pronounced?

    one hundred and twoeth?

  • onehundred seconth rator.

  • what is this vid from

    what show etc

  • its from metallica icon thing

  • "chop your breakfeast on a mirror". there you have it Ouctypse

  • I just realized that master of puppets was about addiction

  • If you're an alcoholic, you don't need to quit completely. That way, alcohol still controls your life, you'd spend your life staying away from it.

The trick, I believe, is to have like 2 beers a day MAX. Maybe 3 if there's some sort of celebration and you don't have to drive or go to work the next day. Balance is EVERYTHING

  • i dont know why your comment is thumbed down but thats 100 % true

  • James live sounds like hes scottish

  • so they dont drink anymore?

  • lars does, james doesnt

  • Russians destroyed Metallica. ;)

  • LOLOLOLOL

  • now that i look at the lyrics, im really surprised

  • I love how Lars talks. =)

  • @TeeKay047 ummm,,,, awwww, uhhhh, ummmm,,, uuuuuu, ummmmm

    like that ? :)

  • @Lenin2304 yes, like that. :))

  • Put a lot of the song in a new perspective, seemed as if Alcohol was James' master.

  • i think ol' tallica has with dm returned to a good part of their old shape. i also think that even though a lot has changed, metallica with all their problems with alcohol gone and stuff, they can form a stonger unity and still "burn with the old fire"

  • 100 million records sold and counting. The ONLY band to have 5 consecutive albums to debut at #1 on the Billboard top 200, ya man, the only band look it up. W heres the hurt? And how dare you bring Death Magnetic into the mix. This album kicks fuckin ass, been waiting 20 yrs for this. LISTEN to it, holy shit.

  • hell yeah. return to da roots man! its really awesome, especially compared to fuckin' St. Wanker.

  • Whats this award show thing called?

And is there a actual metallica show?

Like going through everything until now ?

  • wasn't it much better when they didn't even make videos?

  • grievings from the past... cliff ='(

  • James look bad-ass in the fur coat and sunglasses.

  • what song is playing at 2:00??

  • Wasting my Hate- great song!

  • James did the right thing to go into rehab before alcohol ruined his life but it kinda took alot out of metallica.. Along with Jason leaving the band..

  • the worst thing that ever happened to Metallica was Cliff Burton's death. R.I.P. Cliff. Jason was replaceable but, Cliff was one of the greatest :(

  • Ya that really hurt Metallica..

  • what hurt metallica most after cliff's death was the fact that they didn't allow Jason to have any influence on the stuff they made... That's the problem with Death Magnetic as well...

  • Cliff was also one of the greatest bassists out there.

  • um

    thats not true

rob had a GREAT influence on death magnetic

    for example

    all nightmare long

    rob inspired that song

and because of his funky techniques

    they created some great riffs

like in the end of the line or broken beat and scarred

  • no!! Rob do the riff of all nightmare long (intro), broken, beat and scared(verse riff) and a lot more.

  • I disagree big fuckin time. I don't remember anything hurting Metallica after Cliff's death. Metallica IS and ALWAYS WILL BE James and Lars. You wanna break it all down and get to the point, thats what it is. Where is Jason today? His fuckin influences? Jason has a very broad taste in music but was never a need to enhance Metallica's music in any way. The fuckin band was peaking when Cliff died and because they are who they are.. they were able to maintain that and continue success.

  • 1:34 lol kirk is ugly as fuck back then

  • what is the song playing during the russia scene

  • i think its the outlaw torn

  • youre right :D

  • what movie or documentary was this

  • off couse they will still burn with the same fire.

    Metallica is timeless!

  • 1:35 omg hahahaha!

  • those russians..

  • "ak-47 and Vodka" HAHAHAHA!

  • They hunt with AKs. I mean, holy shit.

  • at least with an AK-47, you know that whatever you hit you are going to kill....minimal suffering for the animal, unless yer a bitch that likes to watch animals suffer and you shoot for the legs.

  • If you think they didn't use drugs you are naive.

think about it... "chop your breakfast on a mirror" .. come on.

    They rock though!

  • yeah i just that really is a coke refrence

  • OH YES THEY CAN :P!

  • to answer the last question, can they still burn with the same fire? hell yes.

  • hetfield was the worst...but at once point remember the band was alcaholica

  • I remember one time I went to a sepultura show at the warfield in San francisco

IU was in the bathroom smoking weed with some friends on the way out the bathroom I saw kirk hammet coming in with a bunch of friends

kirk used to snore I think

becouse almost everybody inside that bathroom was using

    true story

the warfield is on market street

that's were nirvana played for the last time in the bay area

  • Do you think we believe that story after you smoked weed? xD

  • you obviously dont smoke it

  • No, of course not. Fuck smoking.

    You're making your own grave.

  • well fair enough but whatever we do in life makes our own grave really also marijuana has never been proven to be linked with any psychosis nor has it been scientifically linked with lung cancer tobacco does of course but i think smoking cigarettes is REALLY stupid theres actually no point to it

  • dude are we talking cigerattes or crack here? who is confused? you, me or your coke whore mother?

  • what the fuck are you talking about you strange idiotic tit

  • who isnt? everyone makes their own grave dumbass.and when you get to 80 wateva and think man theres nothing left now but the dark abyss youll probably regret alot of things you didnt do whilst trying to be the perfect human. . . .

  • Can someone really tell me if James didn't use cocaine in the 80's......I really think he did.....just come to think about it....metal group, huge amounts of alcohol, and tons of money.....

C'mon. I think metallica did use cocaine on several ocassions in the 80's......I know I would with all that money and fame....jajaja

  • fuck no doubt man

  • ALCOHOLLICA rulez!!!

  • thats good for his life and people he also have a family and childrens so those who think that james should be again a addict then i dont agree with that well i m not saying he should quit though

  • nice, hopefully being sober won't affect their playing too much

  • and i hope you die

  • fuck you

  • Nah now it wont but it did Death magnetic is a sober heavy album with the experience of bot times were alcohol was taken and when it was not.
