Yeah; A friend of mine had an old turntable that he was going to throw away. I took a screwdriver to it and noticed the drive belt had rotted away. So i replaced it with an old vaccuum belt i had; it's played like it was brand new ever since.

sounds kinda slow - is the turntable properly playing at 45 rpm?

after cleaning and a drop of oil, now the speed is correct so you were right in your notice ; Hopefully , this was not an "important" repair. After 50 years of good works, some maintenances are necessarry...

It`s not unusual for Tom to warble a bit . sounds ok to me

Als o a nice machine, whit the manual selector, you can't have a wallbox..

The speaker is nice, i have als o the ford chewing gum..
