Is there any point in asking what Thunderball has to do with the World Cup beyond being shown on ITV while it was going on?

@Applemask It was shown if the match was shown on BBC1 and I think that 7.30pm slot for Thunderball was allocated so that Coronation Street be shown at 7pm and I think that the World Cup was shown earlier in the afternoon.
