I second for Melee gameplay. Melee had sweet fast gameplay. Brawl was good but it felt like the gameplay was slowed down. = / So if anything, I too hope like UsuroerKingZant said, that the gameplay is built from the Melee system with Brawl's content. As for characters, I would love to see Krystal, Wolf Link, Daisy, Rosalina, Roy (make a return), Dixie Kong, Waluigi, Bower Jr., and so many others. It'd be cool to see Sora but I doubt they'll be able to get him.

I know this is unconfirmed, but I don't think it's coming out this year. Project Cafe gave us a lot of news and release dates to video games such as Kirby, Mario, Zelda, StarFox64 3D, and more. The person representing Nintendo at E3 said they want Super Smash Bros on the 3Ds, but we don't know if it will be Brawl or something new. Strife is a word meaning struggle. Maybe the story mode will have a struggle in it, possibly meaning that a 5th one may come out. It may not sound right, but I think Mayhem, or Rumble sound better. Nintendo said that Sakyrai or however you spell his name, will be with this game along with Hal Laboratory, and after Kid Icarus Uprising he will begin the production on the game. Rumors are saying that it will be at E3 this year, hence the copyright 2011, and the new console coming out, THIS YEAR!

Can you read? Rumors is the key word here. As long is comes out, and it's a good game, then Idgaf who makes it, and on what console it's going to be on. It will start production after KidIcarus Uprising comes out though, so I would think around Holiday 2011, or late January. It has to come out around the WiiU, like the others. SSB for 64, SSBM for GC, and Brawl for Wii. It would make sense if it comes out then.

Gameplay wise, Melee wins. Brawl has introduced some cool stuff for competitive play, like grab releasing. They're are like a 5th and 6th throw. Content wise, Brawl wins

Strife is going to be built off of Brawl. Hopefully it's going to be like the Melee's gameplay with Brawl's content

I do believe that there will be a new Smash Brothers on Project Cafe, but I honestly doubt that the picture is real.

But if/when there is a new Smash, they should do the following;

1. Add some (not all) of the advanced techniques from Melee into the new one (like L-canceling, but not Wavedashing).

2. Balance the roster out some more

3. Downloadable content. New characters, stages, items...and balance the game out every once in a while like with Street Fighter, minus the need to buy a new game.
