I have noticed my cat Sooty snoring not purring but snoring over the past few weeks when catnpping he even snors louder then me, sometimes.

Maybe your cat is going to have furball?

have you found out why your cat is breathing this way? My kitty also started to do this this morning. It's kind of like purring, but not quite.

@hahumiaomiao @hahumiaomiao no, not yet, his eye suggest he is not feeling well, but his breathing is still like this. He purrs like he got fluid in his lungs. I've taken him to the doc several times and he suggest keeping an eye on his for about another week and if it continues then to take him back in the office.

@hahumiaomiao His shots are due within a few weeks, so maybe his body is trying to fight off an infection. Like people, i feel his alergies are here. He recently had a dental exam and picks at platic bags like his got boogers or it iches knside. I'm feeling it must be cartlig or some buildup because it gets worse when i rub his neck to inner nose area.

@hahumiaomiao good luck with your kitty tho, its a horrible feeling knowng as a loving owner nothing can be done in the immediate moment and just show him love.
