hard rock? this is more of a top 20 hardcore, post hardcore, metal-core etc. list, the only hard rock band i saw was skillet o.o (no offense.. is just my opinion)

You know, I like screamo hard rock and I'm a Christian and Im trying to find Christian bands like that but all the bands that have screamo and hard rock are like The whole song is screamo and I dont really like that and then if they arent screaming they are roaring and it kinda gets annoying. I like bands that have a real good scream and then a real cool voice. But some of the non christian bands I found are like really NON CHRISTIAN

Good list, and i'm glad to see you got some pre-Spencer Underoath on here. I just saw them in concert for the first time and it was epic. Oh and to anyone having issues believing that this is Christian music, read Psalm 33:3 - "Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully with a loud noise." From what I can see, these bands sing to Him, and play skillfully and loud =D

I am an atheist, but i still like a lot of these bands. Its weird because like every metalcore band is christian. My point being that you shouldn't judge a song by the "morals" it contains. Listen to some Lamb of God or Misery Index. I bet you will like them.

Yeah, despite it sounding like there is no real meaning, you have to listen to the words. However, many of these songs have moral lyrics (or not moral lyrics) instead of christian lyrics. Some bands say they are Christians, but their lyrics even indicate they may not truly be Christians....

I have to agree that there's a large number of songs on the list by Underoath and Norma Jean. At least two of the songs are two of my all time favorite hardcore/screamo songs: Memphis Will Be Laid to Waste and When the Sun Sleeps.
