It's a custom made clip.. Consists of two normal mounting clips and a L shaped piece of metal and some bolts to hold them together. It's not that hard to take off. just the same thing you'd do with normal mounting plus a little rubber piece.
Do you find that you don't get enough warning with it mounted regularly? I remember it just goes crazy - no ramp up or anything and the multinova is like 10 meters away.
Oh I see, do you know where I could get one of these? I'm all for increased detection range, though it does look a bit funny mounted like this :)
I find detection range varies significantly from radar to radar, a few I have got very little range, and some I have got fairly high range compared to my 2 year old bel, sometimes it seems like less though....
I usually go past radars on Wanneroo road and as you would know it's fairly hilly so range is not all that constant.
Unfortunately u can't get them anymore because the GPS makes it so heavy that when it is mounted it was so heavy that it would point to the sky.
I bought a little door knob thing that looks like a lil piece of chocolate from bunnings and sanded it down and wedged it in so it would point straight ahead LOL dodgey but hey it works :P
its home made.. I'm sure u could make one too.. two clips $10 each.. some metal -width of the clips bent into an L shape.. n some bolts to put them together.
Mate how did you mount this?
I just mount my 9500 regularly, but that looks a bit troublesome if you are continually taking the radar detector of the windscreen.
