After the fight with Cotto they took off his gloves, and they cut his wraps off, inside the ring if he had plaster you really think they are going to cut the wraps so easy ? The fact is Margarito was drained from losing weight So Capetillo was going to load his wraps for the First time.

Sort of how quick dry cement works, it would be wet and soft during the wrap but as the fight went on, it would become hard, and make his punches a hell of a lot harder, in the later rounds.

Theres always a representative with the boxer before the fight to make sure that the wrapping is within the legal guidelines, they've been doing that since the early 70's. Remember that when they put plaster on the fist they put it only on the front of the fist area and when they cut the wraps they cut it in the inside of the hand with a special scisors there is no plaster in the inside of the hand, the reason they remove the wraps right away is because they wanted to get rid of the evidence right away. No one knows what the exact substance is, but the wraps were later tested and it turned out to contain some of the same ingredients that make plaster.
So the idea was as the fight went on.. his wrap would become more solid and harder.
Sort of how quick dry cement works, it would be wet and soft during the wrap but as the fight went on, it would become hard, and make his punches a hell of a lot harder, in the later rounds.
looking back at the fight you can see these are not normal punches.

Magarito should be banned from boxing. There is no doubt in my mind that he use plaster in his wraps with Cotto as in tried with Mosley, and got caught. Cotto have fought stronger fighters, and was able to take the blows. Cotto has been down, and have gotten up, and win fights, but with Mariconsito Margarito is was unable to who is not as strong as the others that Cotto has fought. PLASTER.

Theres always a representative with the boxer before the fight to make sure that the wrapping is within the legal guidelines, they've been doing that since the early 70's. During the cotto fight, his wrapping was deemed acceptable and within the rules. Lets just say he is a cheater, look at yourself before you judge otheres. Is being a hateful bigot any better? yeah he beat cotto. i never denied it. i never said anything about tony using loaded gloves against miguel. i always said that tony was probably the 1 who lost the most in that fight and it showed against mosley. cotto wasnt dominated the whole fight maybe 3-4 rds, but the pressure was what made cotto drop. he was movin 2 much which is what u dont do with a pressure fighter. thats y i feel cotto will move on longer then tony and will win the rematch

The rematch is going to be even more unpredictable than the first fight was.
Cotto needs to fight a more intelligent game this fight is kind of like Ali vs Frazier in that if Ali got into a brawl he wouldn't stand a chance he had to stick and move and reduce the output of his opponent.
Cotto needs to employ more holding and make sure his nose doesn't get busted messing with his breathing.
On the other hand now that Marg knows Cotto cant hurt him he will be more emboldened in his approach.
