  • Been a Spread for nearly 30 years, not only has it fucked me elbows up i'm as mad as a hatter. Fuck the other trades, lazy gits, as were always putting their work right!Plasterers rule the Building Trade....

  • you plaster like a god

  • Just remember to mix it "feefty feefty".

  • say how come theres no painting work in perth now days? all seems to be out east

  • thats because the Queensland coastline is booming right now. An estimated 2000 people move to Queensland each week. Perths boom has slowed down although there is work in the mining towns...

  • Hmm Seems that way....I plaster 100 metres+ in a day (8 hours) useing 45 litre gorilla tubs..I might give the oil a go..Make it easyier for the labourers!!

  • the oils to help keep the gauge pot clean which is mixing bucket supplied by plaster companies in australia.

it seems you guys in the uk do it differently

  • dunno about others, but i use gorilla buckets or sumic, there like rubber/maluble plastic and when the gear drys in em, give em a shake and a wobble and the stuff flakes off, i dunno if the oil afects the plaster here, but we might hame some regulation on it ( like ya not suppose to put fairy liquid in building mortar)

  • Subtitles would be nice...

  • If you can not use your hands and you con not use your head, do what i did and be a copper insted.

  • wot the ozzies call plastering is taping and jointing, monkies and poles do that in the uk, its not a skill or trade

  • Maybe its not but my mates dad makes good money doing it self employed for a living. At least its an HONEST living, unlike being a lawyer or marketing guy aka a prick.

  • its austrailian by the sounds of it.... i wanna be a plasterer but no colleges round here do it lol

  • you should use tallow as a release agent on casting surfaces, I've never heard of using vegetable oil..

  • lol using a filling knife/ paint stripper? May as well have used the steel float as he would have been using it later anyway.
