she wasn't off-pitch for a single note of that song. the video quality sucks, and thus is producing a weird tone. I will agree that SOMETIMES she is a little flat on the big note at the end, but when it happens it is rare and she self-corrects. Other than that, this version is actually one of the most pitch-perfect renditions that she's done so I'm a little confused as to where the "pitchy" comment is coming from.
@organboi Not at all to my ears. The audio distortion was annoying, but Sara was fine. And to say she was 'pitchy' and then say she should watch her intonation is redundant.
@mysticsmb Gee, thanks for being the redundancy police on my tiny little comment. If that bothered you, I can only imagine how you would respond to bigger things. And it wasn't redundant. I was pointing out the problem and then offering what a singer should do to remedy it. A singer of her talent sometimes needs only to have the intonation problem pointed out, and then the singer would automatically improve it, just by focusing on it a little more.
@organboi Sorry, dude, but what you said was akin to that old joke where the patient says 'my arm hurts when I do this' and the doctor says 'well don't do that.' To suggest that a professional singer should watch her intonation is a) kinda obvious and b) not a remedy, but a diagnosis. There are strategies singers can use if they're having persistent pitch problems--physical adjustments, etc--but just being told to focus more isn't much of a solution. And, I dispute your 'often pitchy' diagnosis.
My name is Lonna Marie and if you like this song you might find some of my music equally intriguing. I'm very influenced by Sara Bareillis, Lily Allen, Ingrid Michaelson and other artists of their nature. If you have a moment, visit my page and take a listen! Let me know what you think :) Thanks for taking the time and hope you can find something to your liking!
Absolutely stunning, her voice is so pure. She sings so effortlessly, she is a naturally talented and gifted singer. I heard Gravity when I watched Loving Annabelle and I was blown away by this beautiful voice.
Amazing!

I love her but that was often pitchy. She needs to watch her intonation.

I heard it on Vampire Dairies and thought who is that singing? I had to know and I'm glad I did.
