2011 and the FZ50 is still arguably the best Bridge camera for stills which is a poor show by the manufacturers - too many pixels. I only have slrs but if I was going to get a walk around i'd get the FZ50
As a rule, I will use MAGIX Edit pro, but I also use Pinnacle 11 (for MP4 videos). On this video, I think I used MAGIX Edit pro. If limited funds is a factor get the Edit pro 11. It will do just about everything the 14 will do, and it is actually better when using still photos in your video.

buyed one used two weeks ago for 250 euros. a really good stuff , better on photos then the video mode.
please, what software did you used for editing this video?
