Uh, I actually like the English voices better. The opening battle scene at least has better voices in English. Specifically General Pepper sounds better in English, he doesn't have the same tone. I've watched LOGH and it feels weird to see Pepper so calm. Oikonny is better, and when Pepper orders the cornerian fleet to break thtough its better - though Pepper takes too slightly too long to talk there

I've seen actual Japanese game play of Assault, and the vocals really do play a part. They're much more intense and poignant. ^_^ Notably, also, all of the actors who did the vocals in 64 return here! (Adventures only had an English dub) Falco, Slippy, and Peppy's voices are the same as they were eight years ago (at that time) Fox has a new voice, but his old one also did Leon, and he stayed on board (Same for Wolf). Consistency is what makes English dubs in a game series sometimes off...

@TheEFoy11 Yeah, I guess I should have phrased that a bit better. I meant something more along the lines of "I don't think they make very good choices when it comes to translating" than "I don't think they can translate properly", if you get what I mean.

Well, I have to admit though the voice acting in this isn't like super fantastic, the japanese voice acting actually sounds way better than the english format. It just sounds so off hearing them scream in power rangers dialect.

No, I just used a video editing program to mute the english audio. I then replaced it with the japanese version. To put it shortly, it's english footage with japanese audio.

There's something worng with using english subtitles in japanese audio: On 5:30, slippy is supposed to be screaming, not Krystal. Just wanna let you know. Aparrently people in japan hate slippy for reasons so easy to get that i'm not telling what it is. You should know what i mean. XDXDXDXD.

Some time after the aparoid war though, the cannon fodder slippy becomes useful in command. Don't worry slippy, this is the last time you will get yer butt fried by the lazahs(unless the player makes him). He's the second most useful unit in the game, and i had to rely on him so much to kill things! Panther is first. (spoiler) 2nd and 6th ending He also gets a happier ending, and one of his sons becomes friends with fox's son and they both formed another Star Fox team!

@StoreWar1 Whoever did Command must've loved Slippy...he's the most well-drawn and designed (next to Falco, the art in the game was kind of crappy), all of his storiess end well for him, he kicks ass in some parts, his ship is great, he has a significant other that loves him dearly, and he only gets into shit once and only for so long...so yeah...
