@Smallworlds6789 i can tell you about where the sd card goes...... See in the front of the wii where you put the GAMES IN there is a tiny flap about one inch big. open that up and theres where you put the ds card in it shows where it goes in directly....... Hope that helped

Actually you need to put the custom textures and levels BOTH on the SD card (in nsmb folder, not reggie folder) and on the computer, make sure they are EXACT copies or else if you created (or downloded) a level with text tileset without the copy on your SD card your wii will freeze because the two tilesets are not the same. (It happened to me) :(

Btw always read description or txt file before downloading , that will avoid you a lot of trouble...

You neglected to mention you NEED a modded Wii in order to carry out the custom levels in this tutorial. It would have been prudent to make it VERY OBVIOUS from the outset - I nearly wasted 11 mins of my valuable life!

PS: Don't just expect people to be as clue up as you & to "just know" these things - I am a nerd extraordinnaire, but if YOU DON'T MENTION IT, how are people supposed to know?

What I'm saying is DO NOT miss out VITAL pre-requisites - you will only frustrate and annoy people. Thx

@unlokia Modding a Wii is not necessary. You'll need to install Riivolution, which involves hacking, but that doesn't require modding at all. And if you watched 11 minutes, you'll notice that I mentioned this several times, and that I mention a tutorial on how to get Riivolution. All you need is an SD card, and it doesn't mod your Wii at all.

Maybe next time you should do some research on this stuff before you come and flame me about it ;)

@unlokia You even don't need a wii for play such levels. You just need a Dolphin Emulator and an NSMBW ISO. You also need some other things. So you can play it on your PC but this is actually illegal. Especially if you haven't the real game. So I don't know much about it.

Well kinda you will be able to enable or disable the custom level. If you disable it you get the normal level.

If you want the level to place level 1-1, the file name must be "01-01.arc"

@pokemonhg72 On the root of your SD card, just make a new folder entitled "nsmb". Nothing more, nothing less. Insert all levels that you've created into there, and make sure they're named correctly.

Riivolution also can't load the levels if you don't have the NSMBWii template.

I tried this and it's FUN! Oh, I'm trying to work with Models, like replacing Mario with a Paratroopa with Mario's Animations, but that's not working out so well. It would be funny, right? Paratroopa betraying Bowser and his troops and wants to see how it feels to rescue the princess...what do you think? I'll have to wait for a tutorial on NSMB Wii model replacing because I looked forever but couldn't find one...wish me luck!
