dude thats why I hate battle mode. Why haven you you used your pitch faders on the decks? (no offense) lol man if I my decks again I would be tearin it up
It makes the pitch more accessible, and whats dumb about that, Instead of having to lean over, and adjust a sideways positioned pitch, believe me it's much easier. i have almost 30yrs djing experience, so i guess i wouldn't know!!! Cause at times your blending sounds like gymshoes in a dryer!!!
The reason your drifting to easily on the mix's has to do with the way you are adjusting. Your technique is that of someone with bad habits.
I highly suggest learning how to smoothly sweep the side platter to slow it down, and to learn to smooth finger fuck the record to increase speed as opposed to the jerky motions you're currently doing
Terrible suggestions, i suggest you learn to beatmatch by only using the pitch! There's no need to touch the record or platter, once you master blending by only using the pitch. it takes alot of practice but well worth it in the long run!
You fell off beat on most of your blends, take those turntables out of battle mode, and practice your blends by keeping your hand on the pitch and making the necessary adjustments.
Nice Gear, and the music its so much Fun, My personal opinion its about the flow in the rhythm it should be steady increasing, There are some jumps there, but i dont know if was your intention. I miss my SL1200. Good Luck. Check mine if you like but is more linear stuff.
