  • --Religious Liberty is fine. I respect the Quakers for their anti-slavery and anti-war positions. However, no one can expect to get tax dollars, which have taken from all American citizens, and use them to discriminate against certain American citizens (however deep one's beliefs).

--As it stands, there is little alternative to completely pushing the Catholic Church out of the social services. And that's sad. I remember when religion taught people to respect the law.....

  • Join me in requiring churches to support their communities by paying property taxes, like all other property owners.

  • @Lalaland12341000 -- I know a Catholic luxury retreat on Waverly drive in los angeles, swimming pools and jacuzzis for pedophiles, and taxpayers support this child abuse and fund the courts that try to reign in this horror. Churches--if they truly support communities should pay tax.

  • As religion loses its hegemony in society, it keeps all of its freedom.
