  • I used to get in trouble in kindergarten for not paying attention in class - the Standard clocks (the school was built in 1963, so it had the modern face and hands (the other models were still used in my junior high school until probably the late 90s or so - there were Art Deco ones in there, too.

    If I ever find a square model with a face similar to the slave version of the one you have to work on - that is the main kind we had. It is awesome to see these still working!

  • So the synchronous slave is a single-motored clock with a Hansen movement rather than a Standard dual-motor?

  • I happy to see another clock geek with a home clock system. I run a Simplex impulse system driven by a 6400, a Standard GRC synchronous system, and a FAVAG one-second and one-minute impulse system. Does your Basic program also control the 24 VAC GRC?

  • @g1643 Actually, the synchronous clock uses the Faraday correction scheme of :58:05-:59:00 and a bunch of 90-second impulses during the 05:00 and 17:00 hours and yes, the basic program handles the correction.
