There's a commanding officer too. He says at the beginning, "Enter battle zone at 3000 feet, drop to 500 feet until target is reached, and attack at low altitude." He also says "come in" every time the player(s) have spent a credit in stages 1-4.

The pilot's dialogue always consists of "Entering [close range] attack mode [*insert letter here*]." -every time a boss appears.

Yeah, I agree. I used to play this during high-school every Friday at my local arcade. I was only able to beat it once, but I enjoyed playing it every chance I got. By the way, this player is a god; I could probably survive up til the third or fourth stage without getting hit, but after that I have problems. Nice job, mikli218.

Lucky you, mine is scratched to all hell. Should have never let friends borrow my games as a kid. Had to get another copy of it to play it again, but it was definitely worth it. Game is classic, lucky console owners get to play an HD version soon.

RGEAR is cool, but I don't think its safe to drive around the city. That super attack can destroy battlecruiser in a flash, just imagine what can happen when super weapon death match take place next block of your apartment.

Buy the way, I decide to make some 3D CG for ships form this game and raycrysis.

Not only do I remember playing this game, but I

I loved using the R-GRAY II because it had more lock-ons and (apparently) could do more damage. Kudos.

Also, R-GRAY2 lets you continue to chain additional targets to destroy with the laser, as long as you have some lock-ons left. That's what makes me play it way more than R-GRAY1.
